I have been told by the security team at the TTC that they ARE more strict than at other parks. I've been told certain things there in terms of security than at any other check point. Even monorail hotels are not as strict.

They always make me jump too 😄 I was just badly positioned in the boat for that one and got soaked! 😂

I was there when you were, and we had gone to breakfast at the grand cafe, and the gingerbread house was not busy at all. I was actually there before it opened that morning and had to wait for it to open but was an amazing opportunity to look at all the details and take video and photos

Sometimes Disney security IS the best though. In his autobiography Bob Iger referred to the shooter at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando in 2016. The police later told them that the shooter had been walking back & forth in front of House of Blues in Disney Springs, but due to there being a big event, Disney had hired 5 armed cops in addition to regular security. The madman then checked his phone for other nightclubs, and moved on to Pulse. He killed 49 people and wounded 53 including Disney cast members. 😢
