One of the ways that Character Technical Directors support every film is through Rigging. To create the expressive, dynamic characters seen in the final film, Riggers partner with our Animators and Modelers to build controls in models that can be animated in a variety of ways.

They are, this video doesn’t properly show what an actual Disney rig with its controls showing should look like. It only showed joints and simplified versions of the controls

CGI is Disney’s current art style starting with Chicken Little in 2005.
Rigs are like putting puppets together.

Well, rigging is not really animation. And the process one would animate a rig isn't shown here, so I don't really know what part you find hard.

@@necrago building a skeleton, finding the right facial points for beautiful and realistic emotions... I suppose all this must be very difficult. A kind of sophisticated process that requires endurance and patience

@@luciddreamer1426 Actually, the skeletons in this video are fairly basic. What's difficult is weight painting. (it's basically what you said, but not through "bones")
