At this point just be glad no one died at Disney. They seem to love to go over budget and use sub par materials on every project they do lately. Like those Lights at Epcott that couldn't handle water and shorted out. From what I understand Tiana's ride uses Animtronics that seize up if wet in a place with High Humidity. Simply put Disney has been using lowest contract bidders and outsource it's rides to other countries. It's why things are built with other countries climates in mind and a difference size of riders, many newer rides built for smaller shorter people, like say the Chinese perhaps?

@user-li2yv5je5e Not going to happen as long as Iger is in charge. You're right - that would be the winning move; to get back to their roots and play to their strengths with the parks, cruises, and quality movies/shows. But Iger has said multiple times that he doesn't want Disney to be an "entertainment company". He wants to be a "Tech Giant" with streaming, media, etc.. He briefly considered buying Twitter before Elon moved in. He focuses on Disney+ as the first step in an "integrated experience" with networking infrastructure across parks, "experiences", data, etc. And recently he was speculating on how to take Disney into the "KZread" channels because KZread is a massive presence in both social & media markets while Disney+ is barely limping along, and he thinks Disney could reap some of what KZread is gathering if only Disney could get "independent content creators" to host their material on his platform too. Of course, setting up the infrastructure to host a service like KZread's archives and distribution backbone, and managing control of the content, would cost more billions than he has available. But money appears to be no object where his obsession is concerned.

@KittyDad Anaheim. Several cast-reports say it has a tendency to catch fire & break down after maintenance, and that the spirit that haunts it ESPECIALLY hates maintenance/change. The channel Defunctland did a Halloween episode on haunted Disneyland rides. There have been noted issues specifically with the OG Splash Mountain, the never-opened Snow White minecart ride, & the service tunnels specifically near the super exclusive in-park hotel suite near PotC. Of course I have no idea if any of those reports are ACTUALLY true, but it's fun to think that the Bayou Adventure upset some sort of poltergeist that keeps breaking stuff.

Don’t lose hope. Things are pretty bleak right now. I don’t know how you are in regard to spiritual things, but I personally find my hope and security in my lord Jesus instead of material things or people. I know I know. That whole cheesy Christian thing. But it’s always an available option to explore. There’s nothing to lose and everything to gain from how I see it. But if that’s not of interest to you, just don’t forget that as long as your heart is beating and you’re breathing and awake, there’s still hope for a better tomorrow. Regardless of who we are or what we do, as long as we’re still going, we can still find ways to make things better. Even now in a world of insanity and things falling apart. It’s in trying times like this where people can really rise and show what they’re made of. Believe me, I’ve been in a similar place to you. Just biding my time simply floating along, essentially living death. Dead man walking and all that stuff. Nothing working out and everything falling apart. Yet I’ve been finding ways to have impact, even if they seem so small and meaningless at the moment, and now I have life going places and things to look forward to and things to keep living and fighting for. Even in a world that makes my heart want to grow faint and stop beating. People have gotten through many horrible times in the past, and we still can get through even these times, day by day, step by step. Things will change one day. Stuff like this can’t and doesn’t last forever. But until then, my advice would be we focus on ourselves and the things we can impact, instead of worrying about things beyond us. The little things add up and it comes together eventually. We count our blessings and find the good things that still make life worth living. We’re here at a time such as this for a reason. And our current card hands to play may suck in a lot of ways, but we play smart we can still make the most out of it and go to the fullest with what we have and the time we have. Again, as long as we’re still here, there’s still hope to be found. People suck, but there’s still good ones. Disney has become dismal, but it can be replaced by something new and potentially better. Life throws curveballs and hands out lemons. But we can still crack some good hits and made so fine lemonade while we’re at it. It’s not over until it’s over, and until then, there’s always hope to be found and ways to make life more fulfilling. I know we don’t know each other, but trust me, I was in a similar position to you before. So while I’m not wearing your exact shoes, I can still say there can still be treasures to be found in the journey, and there’s still light at the other side of the path to be found. Sorry for the long rant. Trying to help encourage people stuck in spots like this means a lot to me personally, because I really was in that sort of spot before. I’m still not perfect no, but I can recognize how far I’ve come and how life is still worth living because I kept pressing on. So if I can encourage others to keep hanging on and persevering as well, facing life a day at a time, step by step, I always want to if I can. Take care of yourself and be well. :)
