Disney Princesses as Harry Potter characters! What if Belle, Mulan, Rapunzel and the other Disney princesses were real characters in the Harry Potter movies?
Hi^^ Thank you so much for suggesting this edit. Harry Potter is one of my alltime favorite book and movie universes! (yes, Im one of the few Potterheads, who like both equally). I have been wanting to make a crossover or mashup between Harry potter and the Disney Princess world for a long time, but was waiting until I had confidence that I could make it look like I imagine in my head^___^
So, in today's Disney speedpaint or Harry Potter scene, Princess Belle from Beauty and the Beast is of course clever Hermione Granger, in charge of a cauldron in Snape's potion class. For once, the Gryffindors and Ravenclaws are mixed, so Rapunzel (Tangled) as Lovegood and Cho Chang are able to be on the same team as Hermione :D
However, Rapunzel is really much more interested in telling about new spell tips she found in the quibbler and Mulan, o Cho, indulges her - while keeping an eye on Mushu, who is a Chinese Firetail in the Harry Potter universe :) I imagine that if the Disney Princesses were really in the Harry potter universe, the rule about only bringing certain animals would probably be changed, because they all got different pets. Thats why Rapunzel's Pascal is himself :)
As the Asian Disney princess, Mulan was of course the obvious choice to be Cho Chang, while kristoff is clumsy Ron Weasley and Anna from Frozen and Frozen 2 is his former girlfriend Lavender Brown. I based this edit off the looks in the sixth Harry Potter movie, because I think the Disney princesses would look silly trying to play first year hogwarts students, haha :)
I think for Hermione Granger, this edit was a bit of a glow up, because Belle has much more sleek, well styled hair and glam makeup, while it was the other way around for Professor Snape! He looks even worse now.
What do you think about this edit? This is the first time I tried a real full Disney Princess mashup and I hope I did both Harry Potter and the Disney characters justice.

If you have any ideas for other Disney movies edits, please let me know in the comments below. It can be from the new frozen 2 full movie, Harry Potter clips, or just a general idea about one of the characters, like Mulan, Rapunzel, Hermione or Elsa. I often create Happy Ever Afters or like a transformation - especially of Elsa ^___^ I prefer the setting to be after the Disney movies, to kinda continue the amazing Disney story, but feel free to give any suggestion, no matter how crazy. ^___^ I also do Disney Princess and Pixar edits in general and besides Harry Potter, I will probably also start doing crossovers with more Dreamworks, Marvel and so on xD

If only Emma had played Belle as Belle instead of as Hermonie. They are not the same characters, and it showed lack or range and depth on Emma's part to force Belle into being less than she is.

They look so cute in Harry Potter style 😎
This turned out really good. Piece has a strong compositional rhythm and flow to it. Keeps my eyes circling the matte painting. On a technical level, I would say one thing to watch out for in the future is lighting temperature. All light in the scene is orange or green, but Mulan's hair is reflecting blue for some reason.

Hi John, thank you so much for your constructive criticism^___^ I really appreciate it. Light in general is something I try to become better at^^ and I can see what you mean with the temperature. I'll keep an eye on it in the future :) I bought Aaron Blaise's light tutorials to get better, but haven't gotten around to watch it yet^^ The original light on Mulan was cold and I honestly think I just went "that will do", because I have to stop correcting at some point lol 😂 otherwise I never get finished. I can seriously go on and on correcting details if I don't actively stop myself😅

Belle and Hermione, perfect. Books and Cleverness Rapunzel and Luna, PERFECT. Quirky, funny Mulan and Cho, perfect. Adventurous more or less, and they look really similar. Plus Kristoff and Ron, great, kinda clumsy, but very loyal. Anna and Lavendar, great, driven by love, however misguided. They all just make sense! ❤

I am a Harry Potter fan too! I love art, Harry Potter, and Disney Princesses so this is for me.
I'm such a Harry Potter fan! A few weeks ago I finished the last book, then I read tales of beetle the bard, #HarryPotterNuberOneFan! Also, the characters are easy to recognize and I like all the detail you put into your art!
This is awesome for me because I’m kind of a Harry Potter nerd so I’m glad that you made it like this love your channel

I love your videos! You make my day! And the Disney princess movies is one of my second favorite movie and Harry Potter is my first favorite movie🎬
Can we just appreciate how INSANELY TALENTED you have to be to make something like this!?!? 😱 This edit perfectly combines the real world (Harry Potter is a "live action" of sorts) with 3D animation!!! Also, many of the parts are edited from existing photos/screen shots, but there's so much that's just straight up drawn-- I can't believe how real and professional those parts look, you can't even tell!!! And I thought I was good at digital drawing after 1 semester in 9th grade... 😂
I love how every single detail is mentioned so clearly in all the edits!!! Well done....
