I think Disney is a safe bet. They have a large reach from young to old, from Mickey Mouse to Elsa. Ravensburger is a very big player in boardgames. If they keep it simple they will survive for a long time.

I've collected Lorcana from the first day. There are sealed booster boxes that are gen 1. You can tell by the security and date. Then you have gen 2 with 2 pieces of tape and a different date, and Gen 3 with it tapped differently. Also, the starter decks originals have a different date. I have 7 booster boxes. 4 gen 1, and 3 gen 3. I don't think they're reprinting set 1 First Chapter. There's no need to. I think booster boxes will be the most collectible. Once they're harder to come by and the enchated prices go up even more. Troves only give you so many cards. You'll have a better opportunity to get rare cards, foils, and enchamteds. Wich will all go up. That's the market. Don't forget the mats. Those were harder to get than the troves during the release. I agree about the D100, too. This new set might be good because it's the first set to introduce locations.

Thank you for watching! I'm a collector from day 1 also. What i mean with no sealed booster boxes is that they are not having a full plastic wrapper. In the long run booster boxes always perform decent from any successful TCG. I just ment that in the shorter term items such as the Trove boxes and (some) gift sets will perform better. Don't get me wrong, i'm very optimistic about the potential Lorcana has and i enjoy collecting the different items from it. I just don't see the prices of the booster boxes increase just as fast because of the significant higher printruns. Also i know there is a difference in dates on the boxes, but i doubt if that will really be a thing in the future. Maybe i'm wrong, we will see. @@TheCollectingInvestor A few months ago I pre ordered a box with lorcana cards. But yesterday I saw that it wasnt the first chapter, but the upcoming "Into the Inklands" Do you think its a good investment to keep the preorder on this one? Great video!
