Happy Birthday!!! What a fun way to celebrate, I had such a fun time especially since- as you said- we just lost all of our Disney stores, so it was awesome having a slice of Disney in our city. Thank you for your post. I went to the Immersive Experience when they did Van Gogh - I had the VIP where the conceriage allow me to store my jacket for no additional cost. I also had a staff that escorted me around. I watched your video because I want to go for the Disney one, but after my experience with Van Gogh, I wasn't sure if it was worth it. If I did this for Disney, I'd probably do the premium. I could careless about keeping the cushion. It's just sitting in the corner of the house lookin' pretty, collecting dust. All in all, I'll go, but as a premium level.

I have a question, I have a special needs brother with sensory issues and he's not good with very loud noises. Can you tell me if it's really really loud in there as the experience goes on. Like the volume of everything?

I'm quite sensitive to loud noises but I found the volume to be quite tolerable. It wasn't any louder than it would be in a movie theater. However I can't compare my tolerance to that of your brother. I have a nephew who also has sensory issues and we always put on headphones that muffle loud noises like fireworks, car engines, etc (not noise cancelling but they're specifically made for kids). I'm not sure how old your brother is but that might be something to look into.

So REAL quick question for you. When you were on the elevated part, is the Floor interactive on that? Or just on the downstairs part? We are going in July! And we plan on doing the 5:45 show! Does it start right at the time you selected or after?

The interactive floor is only on the downstairs area. The show starts at the time on your ticket but they will let you into the area a bit before that so you can find a spot and get settled. I hope you enjoy the show!

Is the premium worth buying? Only difference I see are that you get the print and the wristband. Getting 4 admissions so not sure if it’s worth the extra $40 Any feedback is much appreciated

It depends. The print made it worth it for me. The wristband and cushion didn't improve the overall experience in my opinion. We ended up standing for most of the show and the wristband was a bit disappointing. I expected it to be more like Magicband+ with vibrations and more colour syncing but it just changed colours at random throughout the show. It didn't even have any Disney markings on it or anything. I hope this helps you decide. Thanks so much for watching and enjoy the show!

Yeah, I was kind of trying to figure out which to do probably would do the premium plus I didn’t realize it came with a print that makes it worth it like the wristband sounds cool, but from what you’ve said it’s not as cool as it seems the only thing that made it worth it paying the extra 10 bucks was for the print. And I have an adult love Disney, but sometimes these type of events or more geared towards families with kids, sometimes adults won’t joy it as much as Kids will. So it’s good to watch your video. I have mixed feelings because like it looks like it be something fun but then you go and you’re not as excited as you thought I’ve been to one kind of like this for van Gogh and it just my boyfriend loved it because he love van Gogh paintings. He paints himself, so he enjoyed it. I did not. This was like a few years ago. This was like when places were starting to open up from the pandemic and we could actually go to events and stuff and so we went to a van Gogh one and it’s just kind of like the Disney one but like I felt like you know if you are an artist or do you have kids they might enjoy it more than you would.

What does the wristbands do exactly? Trying to figure out if they are worth the extra money. Do you keep them or return them?

They light up in sync with the show. We took them home only to realize it said to return them after the show on the actual wristband - oops 😅 We weren’t told to return them and I didn’t see anyone asking for them back. The battery will die after a couple days and I didn’t see a way to replace the battery. Also you can’t turn them off so there’s not much use to them if you keep them.

There was although it was rather brief around the 8:00 mark. It was mostly books and kitchen wares you could find in Winners/Marshalls or Dollarama. Wasn't anything very exciting unfortunately.

@@alisonlee6800 when I went there were a bunch of little golden books, all of them under $10, but also a decent selection of coffee tables books for Disney animation enthusiasts (The Art of Tangled, Art of Frozen, Art of Moana etc…) alongside some books covering Disney animation history. The gift shop is outside the exhibit, so you should be able to go in and look around without buying a ticket to the show :D

@alisonlee6800 They had TONS for kids. They also had a lot of 'coffee table' style books with artwork and story boards from certain movies (frozen, encanto, etc). I believe you can access the store without a pass actually. I am pretty sure our passes were only scanned once we passed the store area. They will ask you at the door what kind of ticket you have (premium, basic, VIP) so they know where to direct you but that's it ETA: just noticed teacupforone said the same thing above! Haha oops

@@alisonlee6800we just did the immersive experience and found an amazing book in the gift shop! I’m a huge nerd for animation stuff and found a really nice coffee table book that shows all the different sketches and drafts of characters and how they evolve into the final characters we see in the movies. And it shows how the animators create everything from small pieces of jewelry to the backgrounds and worlds that the characters live in. Really fascinating! We got the Moana book but they also had frozen and couple others. Hope that helps.

Happily Ever After is the fireworks show in Magic Kingdom. This is an entirely different event that is held at different locations around USA and Canada. The wristband is not available to purchase separately as far as I know.

Is the cushion for rent or keep? Says its to rent as i see it now. Assuming they changed it from when you went to how it is now?

I believe it depends on the ticket type you get. The premium ticket included the cushion for rent so you had to return it after the show. It wasn’t Disney themed or anything so I wouldn’t have wanted to keep it anyway

Great video! We did this back in February and we did the vip package. We weren’t able to get up to that platform, and that looks like an amazing vantage point. We loved it and thought it was worth it too. Totally know what you mean about seeking out Disney stuff wherever we can here in Toronto 😅

Too bad you couldn't get up to the platform. It was the best viewing spot imo. The struggle is real with finding Disney stuff. Bring back the Disney stores!!

Me personally would rather go to Disneyland as a local from Las Vegas the Strip is about as crowded as the park. And with almost 100 admission that's almost a ticket to Disneyland,but I totally would go if I didn't live within a few hours of a Disney park. The Lithograph is super cool and you could probably get your money back by getting it signed and selling it so it makes it worth it.

@@mrs_patriot Assuming the location you are going to is the same, no we did not need to provide names, just the ticket. They scanned the barcode and off we went!

It’s not just Canada, they closed most in the US. So sad :(

How long is the show

The show itself is about 45 minutes but the whole experience from the time you arrive to when you leave is about 2 hours

I took my daughter and granddaughters today to the Montreal show. It was certainly stimulation overload; 55 minutes of constant oversized, moving/zooming (at top speed) characters from Disney theme videos projected around the walls of the whole converted warehouse with accompanying fairly (but not overly) loud, singing/music from the movies. There were swirling things on the floor like flowers, snowflakes, autumn leaves, a brick floor etc. which the children liked stomping on.. to match the varying themes being shown on the walls. I would say that it is worth about $25 per ticket but it was closer to double that. My 3 and 6 year old granddaughters LOVE Disney movies and know all the songs but found the whole show overwhelming to the point where about half way through they actually lay down on the floor and stopped watching I think to give their vulnerable, overstimulated brains a rest. It felt like mind control.. I took the 6 year old to the big Nutcracker production last week and that was so much more enriching (at double the price). We were both so amazed and I think will make it a yearly tradition. The Disney experience on the other hand is like eating candy for breakfast. It was basically a thrill seeking experience.

It`s a pity that this show will be only in the US. and not in Europe.

Too much money only for watch big screens like movie theater 🤮🤮🤮🤮
