Hi! We went to Disney's Magic Kingdom for the first time with 3 impatient kids and the build up to the day was a tad stressful wondering how to do things. Then I found Ear Scouts. I cannot thank you enough for your time and effort to do these videos. This one in particular! We were there from rope drop to close and thanks to your tips on Genie+ we literally were riding roughly 2 rides an hour and got through nearly everything on our list! Our only hold up was our dinner reservations colliding with trying to get a time on Big Thunder and Space Mountain, we should have snagged those earlier in the day as suggested but honestly we don't even mind we missed them. You made the day a breeze and I gushed the entire day about how I had to come thank you. Lol!! Thank you so much! Never rouletted more than 5 mins and scored great times all day long! Anyone reading, take the advice in any video that says to book the busy rides ASAP! Don't wait!

We're heading to Disney tomorrow and I feel so confident in using the Genie+ because of you! We are planning to do this at each of the parks. It might take us a little while because these are a beast to edit, but I’m hoping to have the videos for the other parks come out every two weeks or so. Pretty sure next week will be about early park entry, but we are filming Genie Strategy for Animal Kingdom next weekend, so hopefully it can be ready for the following week. My husband and I went to 3 parks in one day last week (we only had one day in Orlando), and thanks to you, I was able to successfully plan and book so many rides at different parks with Genie +! We started at EPCOT (and our first 9am ride virtual queue success was Guardians of the Galaxy! - couldn't have done it without your tips), and used Genie+ for Soarin', and I set alarms throughout the day so I had Genie+ lightening lanes lined up at Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom for our park hopping times. We got right on the Millennium Falcon Smuggler's Run and the Runaway Railway. Then at MK we had lightening lanes for Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and Haunted Mansion! Thank you SOO much! Honestly it wouldn't have been such a successful day without your tips. Also ending the day with Big Thunder Mountain was fantastic!

You my friend have EARNED a subscription! My family of 4 just completed a 4-day trip to WDW. We purchased Genie+ every day. I followed your instructions and whether through luck, good fortune, or just the result of an excellent strategy, I was able to ride EVERY Genie+ eligible ride in EVERY park. In most cases, I was able to finish all the rides well before the evening time. I was able to get AK done before 12. Really appreciate the content. It made the Genie+ purchase well worth it.

If you're planning a trip to Disney; do everything he says. He's right about everything. I didn't even play Genie slots continuously until I got what I wanted. Just picked up the phone, did a few swipes, put it down and tried again a little later. Less than 5 minutes total time each time. #1: Was ready for Ariel's character meet. It's 11:15. LL was 2pm, then 3pm, then 4pm - tried again and boom - 11:50 return time. #2: Booked Pirates and ride went down (twice). Got two freebie LL's in stock. Used one for Thunder Mountain and saved the other for last ride of the day (Space Mountain). Got to Space Mountain at 930pm. Was turned away bc Space Mountain wasn't one of the rides you could book with a freebie LL. Played the slots - 10:20, 10:40, 10:50 then boom 9:50 return time. I can't thank you enough.

This so helpful. I was thinking with small kids it may be best to change selections based on land we are in or getting ready to go to so as to consolidate for the littlest among us. We’re already mentally prepared to not do everything but definitely hit some top picks in each area. I think we could make it a game too by putting in top 2-3 for one in each land we’d want to go to to see what the slots say we’re headed to next. It could keep things fun!

Thank you so much for explaining Genie Plus so easily. I live local and I come to the park once a week but I have yet to purchase it because I did not know if it would be worth it for me. I get there at rope drop but I usually head home around 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon. But I also don't get on a lot of rides because of the lines. Can't say thank you enough. We just got back from DW last night. I have watched so many videos on Genie plus and lightning lanes, it is crazy. Most everyone spends more time complaining about it, rather than trying to figure out how to make it work to your advantage. WOW! we loved it. Still had a couple of minor hiccups, but with your information and advice we very successfully navigated each park. By noon each day we had several rides (the ones we wanted) under our belt and made it easier to navigate the rest of our day. The only add on advice I would put in would be to also plan your locations so you're not bouncing from one side of the park to the other and back again. Just got back from a spur-of-the-moment trip to WDW with our daughters family. We had a week and a half to plan the trip. My daughter woke up our grandgirls and told them they were going to WDW. I follow a lot of WDW websites but thank goodness I found your website. We've been going to WDW for forty years and it has never been so complicated as now. You are my favorite site to watch now and I found everything you said to be so true and helpful. Now if my husband and I can just get over the COVID we came down with the night we got home........

Hey there! I wanted to message again as we just got back to the UK after our 2 week vacation in Orlando. This was my 8 year old’s first time at Disneyworld and your videos were instrumental to our success at the parks. We early-booked all the popular things you mentioned, used the Genie+ lockout time to wait in line for ILL rides like Seven Dwarves and Rise of the Resistance, meet Princesses or see shows… meaning we did not pay any extra! Playing the Slots, wow what a difference that makes, chopped hours off the times! Thank you so so much. The trip was amazing and efficient thanks to your top tips. I’ve already had other parents with upcoming trips asking me for hints; I just redirected them to your channel 😂. My question is regarding individual Lightning lanes though when do you suggest to build those in if some of those rides are important to us?

Hi Amy! Thanks for watching - we’re so glad you’re enjoying our videos! As for Individual Attraction Lightning Lanes, it really depends on your budget, the time of year you are visiting and your feelings about waiting in long lines. 😂 For me, I almost never pay for Individual Attraction Lightning Lanes. I will choose to ride those rides during a period where I have a long wait for a Lightning Lane or at the very end of the night. I almost always get in line for Flight of Passage, Mine Train and Rise of the Resistance just a few minutes before the park closes. This way, the line is at its shortest (the posted time in usually inflated at the end of the night, sometimes dramatically) and I am not using park time to wait in the line. The exception is when I am with someone who gets really cranky about long lines. For those moments, it is sometimes best to just pay the $$$ so that they have a good experience and don’t remember the line more than the ride. 😂 The other thing to think about is whether you have another day to ride if the ride goes down. If this happens at the end of the night, you’re just out of luck with a standby queue. If you only have one day to ride and it is super important for you, I’d recommend considering a paid Lightning Lane in the AM just in case there are technical issues (this mainly applies to Rise of the Resistance). Hope that helps!

In future videos where you use the lightning lane, can you also include in the purple banner (that you display at the bottom of the screen) what the current stand-by time is too. Just one question.. when you’re booking your first Lightning Lane at 7.00am.. would you recommend playing the Genie Slots for a few minutes the same way as you would any other time in the day? Or would you recommend just grabbing the first closest time possible for the popular rides?

Hi Imran - thanks so much. 😊 Definitely don’t play the slots at 7am. They have changed it so that you can’t see return times right at 7am, so you are unable to see what you’ll get before you get it. For that reason, only pick your top ride. Tap in right at 7am on the dot and take what you get. It will only get worse if you tap out and tap into something else. Good luck!!! 🍀🧞‍♂️🎰

Best KZread subscription I’ve ever done! Love your content! Question in genie slots- do you often get better times when refreshing? For instance, it took 8 mins to get haunted mansion at 4:00. Were the times much later in the 8 minutes of refreshing? Thanks for the tips! I’m looking forward to Epcot and HS vids!

The answer to your question is yes - the goal is always to get a time slot that is as close as possible to the current time so that you can badge in and start booking the next one. Every now and then we will have zero luck and decide to cut our losses, but that is rare and we mention in the video whenever that is the case. I think it might have been Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin in this video where that happened? And even then I think it was a pretty decent return time we settled for. It doesn’t happen often. Usually with enough patience you can get a great time slot on just about anything. Thanks for watching and good luck with those Genie Slots! 🧞‍♂️🎰

We just arrived from our Disney trip and this video was GOLD. We understand and follow the Genie+ game and we were able to go into every attraction without running either making a long line, the longest was for the dumbo-dinosaurs at Animal Kingdom of 10 minutes. We did not stay in any hotel.
