Our family really enjoyed the game once we kept reading and reading the instructions, and finally realized that you want to focus on which rooms to move to to collect cards based on their points value, then the strategy really begins! GOAT DRAGON TEA MUMMY

I got this for Christmas and we love playing it! It takes quite a few times of playing to really get the hang of so many rules. It usually takes us a little longer than 30 minutes to play it. My 8 year old always puts me in my place when I forget to do something or do something wrong 🤣

Really enjoyed this game. I love that there are 2 different versions. Seemed like once you guys got rolling it was not overly complicated. Now what is overly complicated is the "dragon goat tea mummy" but that is a whole other topic. Thanks for the board game videos. Keep up all the great work you do.

Board games ARE this complicated nowadays! It's not just the Haunted Mansion! What I do with new games is play them step-by-step with the instruction booklet in hand for the first few games lmao. You guys will get it eventually (I hope)!

Took us a few minutes to figure it out, but we really enjoyed this game.

This definitely had a lot of mistakes in their game play. However, thank you for trying Haunt cards have to be taken if you take a ghost card from the room with the hitchhiking ghosts room.

We bought this for our kids, spent 30 minutes and never figured it out. Most of the time was spent laughing at the instructions that was so overly technical to erase any fun.

I really loved this one when I played it with my siblings.

Loved the games, but I definitely preferred the Small World game over the Haunted Mansion game. But both the Tea Mummy and Dragon Goat are amazing characters.

I really wonder what a “dragon goat tea mummy” would look like as a drawing 😂 We have this game! We subtracted the haunt points from our totals the first few weeks of playing before we realized that we’d been scoring wrong 😳 but we love it! We’re taking it to Disney to play in our resort on Halloween this year!

My daughter and I love this game! Wish I had the 50th version. Dragon goat Tea mummy. Oh, and the orange circle around the seance room is the Endless Hallway. The pink (Crypt) room is just another room. Foolish mortals. 😉

You didn't play this right, in 2 ways: -Page 7: When you collect a Ghost card from the Hitchhiking Ghost's room, you must draw 1 Haunt card. If you collect multiple cards from their room, you must draw one Haunt card for each Ghost card you collect. -You don't have in any specific room to move between the Endless Hallway and the Séance Room...as long as you have use 1 action, you can move between the from the Séance Room to any Endless Hallway space or vice versa for that action Also....dragon goat tea mummy

58 year old here - After unboxing and trying to play this my wife and I found this very confusing - We were thinking that it was just because we really haven't played many games lately or that we were seriously declining mentally. I realize, relatively speaking, that it isn't really complicated compared to many of the new games that have hundreds and hundreds of pieces, parts, cards, and dice, but still it was no Candy Land. - Will try again when we're both a little more awake. :)

Can you please explain the rules for the Madame Leota card? Can you collect 13pts if you do not have haunted cards at the end of the game? Or do you have to have at least 1 haunted card but with the lowest value compare to others?
