Ohhhh how much fun was embarkation day. The ship looks awesome and there seems to be a lot to do on the ship. I love the beer mug idea too. Looking forward to seeing the next one.

Rach, you and Nat would love it! So much to do! Dave and I also played Bingo a few times and he was 1 number from the grand jackpot of $8000! It’s definitely my most relaxing vacation :)

We love Disney Cruising, the ships are amazing! We on doing our first carnival cruise in July but really want to do a Royal Caribbean cruise next! You will have to tell us how you liked it!

Lol! Yes, he has definitely stretched out since the last trip to WDW! His first vacation mimosa with us will be in Vegas when he is 21…still a few years away but we’re already planning it! Glad you enjoy our Disney adventures too! ❤️

Hi D&S - Thanks for bringing us along on another adventure. Nice to have some good food to help when you settle in. Disney does a great job of theming and decorating. Very nice state room. My only complaint would be that there's no casino on Disney cruise ships. 😫 The Animator's Plate restaurant changes from B&W to color over the meal time - the food looked great. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and have a safe & happy 2024. Cheers! 😎❤🍻

Hey, Kevin! Yes, the decor is amazing on the ship and seeing it for the first time all decorated for Christmas was beautiful! Disney does have Bingo to help with that gambling itch, we’ll share that on later vlogs 😉! I know, not the same but it does help! Happy New Year to you as well! Crazy it’s already 2024!!

Hi Y’all David, Sonia & Aiden - Chef Bari here. Sounds like fun ! I was going to ask you about the mandatory muster Cruise drills but you covered that lol. My grandkids & kids would love to go on a Disney Cruise. Unfortunately for Canadians it’s pricey due to the additional cost of getting to Fort Lauderdale. It would cost us $3200 CA per couple ( 4 days cruise) plus another $3000 per couple for flight. All in $6200 CA not including Gratitude ,onboard extras and night at hotel (before cruise ). I’m assuming you are paying for an all-inclusive Disney Experience ? Mind you, the two of us paid $7000 in Vegas for 7 days ( all in, including gambling) this past summer, so it’s still possible. I love the beer offer Disney Cruise has. For me, that’s perfect lol. The steak meal looks good and the Calamari too. Thank you for sharing- eager to see next vlog - Cheers Chef Bari

Hey, Chef! We do look for savings anyway we can, so we understand the cost can be high depending on location. The beer mug option is great as you get more bang for your buck! I will say the grandkids and kids would love Castaway Cay (pronounced Key), which is Disney’s private island. It’s amazing! You will see that on the next one! Sonia and I try Palo (their signature restaurant) for brunch so we’re curious to get your take on it…also coming in a later vlog! We appreciate you watching!

Hi! I’ve never been to your channel but looking forward to following along! One question: I’ve heard some negative reports about chaos at Fort Lauderdale/Port Everglades. Like totally disorganized, people boarding much later than their PAT, etc. It didn’t look like you had any problems or delays at all. How was disembarkation day? We sail on the Dream out of Port Everglades in a few weeks so I’m trying to mentally prepare if it’s not going to be “smooth sailing” ha! See what I did there?😂

Lol! Thanks for following our adventure on The Dream! When we arrived at the airport there was a bomb threat in place so getting an uber or lyft was challenging. It took us over 2.5 hours to finally get to our hotel (We stayed at The Snooze) and would’ve normally been a 10-15 min drive. On the way out from Fort Lauderdale we did not have any issues at all! It was definitely smooth sailing! It was our first time in Fort Lauderdale and out of this port, but we’ll definitely be back! We arrived a day early to explore the area (and didn’t want to miss our cruise!). The Snooze hotel was a perfect location to everything and plenty to do within walking distance. We put a vlog out on it soon! Hope you have a fantastic trip on The Dream! We’re jealous!!

WOW!!!!! A bomb threat?! That's crazy. Glad you're all OK! And thanks for getting back to me so quickly! Oh! One more thing - how was disembarkation (or is that in a future vlog?) Also heard horror stories about that and we have an 11am flight. I didn't think that would be an issue considering how close the port and FLL airport are to each other but there were reports of long lines at customs.....@@DaverrasonTravels

@user-qq2in4jt5l we have to say debarking was a breeze too! We kept all of our luggage and took it with us to eat breakfast at Animators Palate. We had a later flight so thats why we had breakfast. Breakfast is at 7 am at your designated table service restaurant (they will tell you on the last full day) and then you’re free to leave. Have your passport ready as you do have to walk through customs when you leave the port, but it was quick. The airport is super close to the port too!

Didn’t realize you guys just started cruising last year. What was it that led to you doing it last year?

We had always wanted to do a Disney cruise since we loved Disney world. So, we booked it and fell in love with cruising. This coming year, we plan on venturing out to other cruise lines (your cruise videos definitely helped) 😉

The tough thing we are finding is that cruise lines do a really good job of hooking you. We didn't intend to become giant RC people but we haven't paid full price for a cruise in 9 cruises due to their easy comp set up with the casino. We are paying full price for Icon but thats because it's the inaugural sailing so no freebies on that one @@DaverrasonTravels

Yea cruises are sneaky expensive because you can pay over time - I call it paying for vacation on layaway if you remember that. Royal we will gamble 1/2 to 1/4 of our daily in Vegas and get free offers, also if you do you can earn free drinks in the casino once you hit a certain level to try to save on the drink package @@DaverrasonTravels

Yeah, we heard that recently. But on our cruise, nothing was mentioned by the crew members unless they were just finding them and keeping them 🤷‍♀️
