@@johnjesus971 these ships (dream class) use high volume speakers that play the horns there’s a panel in the port bridge wing that has all the horns and you can select one to play, on the magic and wonder (magic class) they use a golden Mickey button that when pressed plays “when you wish upon a star” tune.

They need to configure the horns to play the next 9 notes of The Imperial March.

It’s for the star wars day at sea

The Imperial March is the best sounding tune I’ve heard a ship play so far. I also love the joke “what do you play? Just the cruise ship.” This whole business shows some people in the cruise industry have a sense of humour.

IMO, these ships have some evil sounding horns... Evil bass.

The whistles are basically mp3 recordings done from a studio, installed on the ship and played over very loud speakers. You may be able to faintly hear them from other ships, but by no means are they as loud as actual horns. Magic and Wonder use horns for their one tune, hence why you may notice it's louder than the other newer ships. But that's why they only have one tune, because it would take a lot of work to configure the actual horns to make more tunes.... so they opted for speakers instead as it's easier... downside is that it's not loud from a distance like actual horns are. Rant over. What you're hearing here, are speakers.

The Imperial March was AWESOME!!!

Kinda sounds like a cello, bass, tuba and a saxophone all mixed, the low end sounds like the rumble/shake of the bass mixed with the air of the tuba and the mid to high sound has a sort of shaky bow sound from a cello with the top end of the saxophone. Pretty cool !

Imagine in 1:30 that Darth Vader was on it and heard the Imperial March he will be happy😂
