gurl , you get it , and that is an admirable trait, some folks don't have as good of self direction as you seem to have. thanks for keeping us upbeat Haley.🤩😇

this is refreshing to hear bc although u had fears and anxiety u overcame them and made the best of ur program and time! bc i saw a lot of self terminating videos before this and that was not the case for them it seems their loneliness/anxiety got the best of them. so love to hear a more positive video! thanks for this.

I hope to be a mechanical engineer and an imaginear for the company. I love to see someone who also has anxiety talk about this wonderful company. Thank you so much. God bless you

I love hearing all about your experiences during DCP. I wanted to do it back when I was in school but I wasn’t brave enough to apply (let alone move out to Florida and not know anyone-painfully shy over here). You are awesome, and I love how you took advantage of every moment of your time there!

As someone who did the DCP and also worked in Corp for a time, still in Orlando, you have the drive, the tenacity, and the passion to be here again and make your career dreams come true. If you want to be an Imagineer - know what you have to major in and that is probably won't be your first design/engineering role - most of them retire in that section of the company and they've had a lot of other life & work experiences prior. Be excited, but be realistic, and always keep learning by taking 100% of the opportunities given to you. You are going to do GREAT things!

Also, I don't know if you've seen the YT channel "Emily's Wanderland" but she did the ICP, and always had a dream of working for Disney World. I believe she may have done more than one round of the ICP but eventually, she landed a job with Disney (she lives in the UK). Her story is very interesting and shows that you should never stop trying.

Thank you so much for telling us your experience. I got denied from the DCP last year and definitely want to try to get in some day. I also wanted to become an imagineer but after my first year in college I knew engineering was too hard for me. Now I just want to be apart of the company in any way possible

Yes, I would say it is a person by person case. Depends on the situation/role. I am good at one on one conversations with guests (for example)- honestly one of my favorite things- but it took a lot of time for me to overcome the personal battle of talking to the bigger crowds. Whether it was taking a few deep breaths or stepping off stage for a moment, my fellow cast members were understanding and supportive of those learning. I am very grateful for that. I was open and honest the first day there on what I was nervous about and they were able to help me learn and overcome them. Anxiety and Panic is a personal battle, you just need to know what works best for you.

Wow what a great video. Ive always said someday ill work at WDW. I wish i could have overcame my fears and applied for the college program 40 years ago. Your enthusiasm and emotions are so honest, they will take you far in life. I can feel how genuine your energy is. Im a team leader in a manufacturing environment with a MA in adult education. I am going to apply for some professional roles this fall, but if i cant one i would still try to get an entry level position. I just want to be a part of bringing the magic too.

As someone who worked at Disney world 2015-2019 it was my biggest dream when the skyliner was announced. When i was finally able to be transferred . Did all the test passed all did all requirements. The cast members where super sweet. When the shut down happened. I lost my job. Been trying to go back to disney world seen. But seen i have no car. I can only work at the disney springs. From what co workers tell me. That section can be toxic. Im talking about the onces that are outside section where sell popcorn and pouline. There where blue/green. Seen its low cast members there. That what been told from people whonworker there before

Thank you for your upload. I was just wondering if you came across any other older cast members (40s/50s) from other countries who were doing the program? I'm a bit out of the ordinary and want to take a leave of absence from work and go work for Disney for a term. It's been a massive dream but I have no idea about how to get in. I've looked at Disney careers and the programs for the country I'm from are either you have to be at college, or you need to be from a country that is represented in world showcase. Do you have any idea what department I could contact at WDW to discuss this please?

Hi, I am Jinny from Korea and I will visit Disney as college program in July this year. Nice to meet you I'm enjoying your video and thank you for letting me know a lot of information before I go. Can I ask you a question? I heard that even if I am a Disney intern, I can't go to all the parks freely, is it true? Thank you❤

I'm a tech theatre major who just got into the DCP, what is Tech Behind The Dreams? How would you apply when you get there? and does it happen only once during the duration of the fall and spring programs?

Awesome! Congratulations! Tech Behind the Dreams is a day long event hosted by WDI, that talks about roles. They opened applications a while after I was there- Disney programs sent out an email about it. I haven’t heard anything about them doing it recently, but I would definitely ask when you arrive and see if it is on the upcoming schedule
