Finally a 2023 reissue of the cd. I've been waiting for years. Get it before it's gone folks! I will probably sell out pretty quick.
Favorite workout album.
Born in -75. Got my first mix-tape of HM in -80. Got to like DM in -90. Saw Dismember for the first time live in -91.. I rest my case, case closed.. So what do I listen to in -24??? Fuckin Dismember still..!!!! 😈🤘🤘🤘🖕
that 40k Terminator on the cover alone makes this album worth listening to **WE ARE DOOM & STEEL**

remastering is not simply increasing the volume over the entire thing bro. it also involves relevelling each individual "stem" as it seems to be trendy to call them lately or "track". @@deathevokation1017

@@RafaelCDet Guitars and drums are pretty soft imo. For the time of the release this may have been hard, even though there were already plenty of bands that sounded a lot heavier and more tight. Besides, I meant that some of these tracks sound like they were not mixed the same way as the other ones, as if they are from a different album. And some of the moments on this one have something wrong with the volume, like the loudness goes up and down for no reason (especially this can be heard towards the end of the album), which was kinda confusing at the first listen. Not to dismiss anything and anyone, the album is not bad, but if that is "phenomenal" and "punchy" mixing, I wonder what kind of mixing is just "good"... Like, I don't feel the pressure, it's not easy to headbang to things that sound this "light" and "untight"
His weakest album full of middle tempos but contains some great songs as On Frozen fields and Life - another shape of sorrow

Oh, what a horror, the weakest album in their discography, a real fiasco after the real killing machine that meant indecent and obscene. Just the previous Casket Garden ep with that carelessly done cover didn't bode well, and it happened. fault of the great labels that put their nose in and the push and applause that the wolverine blues received, another shit after another beast like Clandestine.

@@rantingsw3de I bought the Casket Garden ep and then the full length when they came out so I know what I'm talking about, the loss of potency was noticeable. Even the same band denies this album in an interview on their DVD so I don't think you'll be able to deny the same musicians, I think. maybe you've been listening to this music recently and it's okay if this soft style works for you and fits to be *DEATH METAL* labeled. Do you want an album in this style that is really worth it? Desultory, his album Biterness. Greetings friend.

i think the self-titled is. this one is better than that. on the Live Blasphemies dvd, in the interviews clips some of the band members express a lot of interesting opinions and feelings about this release. can't agree that Bitterness is a better album either.

@@ian.swift.31614 Look, it was a complicated time for lovers of Traditional Death Metal that had not yet been disrupted by the clutches of multinationals like the case of Columbia with Earache, when the Fear Emptiness of Napalm came out I almost died, always remember the predecessors of every album I review, in this case, the abrasive and devastating Utopia Banished. What happened with Entombed already mentioned, Gorefest with the Nuclear Blast with the album Erase..... oh, serious?.... Grave releasing the unpresentable Soulless after the mighty You'll never see...it couldn't be, but it was. Other bands taught how to blow everything to hell as Sinister with Hate, Altar with their Youth against Christ; but you had also Loudblast that brought out a questionable Sublime dementia after the radical Disincarnate, the Blut from Atrocity after the brilliant Todessensucht and so many others. Sometimes it was a matter of letting the album mature in the ears but many bands lost the edge and substance of their reason for being.
