The only reason that happened is because jumping on someone's head is considered an offense in the game. So if that mechanic wasn't in there you most likely might be able to jump in the bathtub all you like and nothing would happen.

It can't be one of dauds men for 3 reasons. 1) Dauds base was being raided by overseers and his assassin's were captured around that time. 2) The figure disappeared in a poofing cloud, and the assassin's disappear leaving some sparkly thing behind. 3) The assassin's don't necessarily disappear right when corvo looks at them.

Secret rooms dont exist if you excessively use Dark Vision like I do 😂

once my game glitched out ridiculously, and I bought the longer effect upgrade (I was playing dishonored 2, for the record), it didn't use up any runes, so I did it again and again, then tried it out, my dark vision lasted over 10 minutes, but then I reloaded a save and it was gone lol

If you play Dishonored 2's 2nd mission, and listen to the Overseers, they'll tell a story of a man who wore the Heretics Brand, whom was casted out from the Overseers. I believe this is a reference to Cambell being thrown into the Flooded District.

The thing is the books actually tell you how the missions play out Canonically. Overall its Low Chaos obviously but Campbell is actually branded a Heretic, Corvo goes High Chaos at the Golden Cat too and fucking murders all the Guards plus the Pendletons.

Campbell's secret room is not so "secret" because if you spill the bottles with the whine then Campbell will bring that guy here (who he wanted to poison) and will kill him if you won't do something with him. That was always the place where I shot a sleep dart into him in low chaos.

About the 451, it's written there on that "Whiskey" sign over there in front of you. Just move there and there will be shelves, there are bottles and behind them on the wall. It says 451.

I think it was even first introduced as early as in System Shock, back in 1994. And, from then on, appeared in many immersive sim games like Deus Ex, Bioshock etc.

Similar to the "My apple!..." bit, if you're stealing things like ornaments inside the Boyle manor, other guests will say things like.. "Go ahead, help yourself, I always take as much as I can carry" or something like "Take it, you may as well, everyone else does." Just thought I'd mention it because it's along the same lines as everything else in the video - things you can see just by playing the game. To be fair I've never noticed the -training dummy- mysterious figure disappearing before, or I have but I forgot about it.

i re-intalled this recently. Such a cool game and it's annoying how you want to beat the levels but at the same time feel like you are missing a ton of secrets. Very in depth game.

I remember playing dishonored for the first time and my brother asking if I was playig Half-life. The inspirations shows.

Knew all of these except the bottle in the painting and the ghost. That is really neat! Thank you

The 451 code was also alluded to in Thief 2; the button puzzle to open the safe in the First City Bank and Trust mission could be completed quickest if you imagined the buttons as a keypad and pressed ‘0451’. This wasn’t actually a reference to Fahrenheit 451 though, it was the key code for Looking Glass Studios’ offices in Cambridge.

@Lyn it's a Looking Glass studios reference, it's used in the first door in System Shock 1. Also in Deus Ex (1 and Human Revolution), Prey and anothers immersive sims created by them. They've even used it in one office of Ion Storm or Looking Glass.

That "ghost" is either the Outsider watching Corvo or a Whaler sent by Daud to see what Corvo is doing. Or even Daud himself.

The "Ghost" you can actually see. It's a dummy (like the ones to practice shooting or whatever). It's weird how it can blink/teleport away tho.

Error 404 I don't think they had attacked dauds base yet. Even if they did, it would be around the same time corvo was doing on his Campbell mission. And it's unlikely for an assassin to be there so soon. Also, the way he teleported was unlike any assassin.

In Brigmore Witches, you can also find Arnold Timsh in Coldridge Prison, if you got him arrested by Overseer Turnbull in The Knife Of Dunwall.

Nice one simple BUT great

In the mission saving Martin when heading towards Samuel there is a training dummy on top of the platform that disappear when u try to look at it

i finished this game yesterday, now i want to play it again

I noticed that figure on the roof too! I figured it was Daud watching me work and trying to figure me out.

There is another weeping angel Easter egg in the trials Dlc when you have to steal clockwork eggs there is a safe in the mansion with Campbell bust who look at you when not looking

You might be able to kill it with a crossbow bolt and stop time. In the second Daud DLC, it is for example possible to eliminate the teleporting witch stalking the dead eels head quarter.

I am so dumb I saw the portal reference and thought that later maybe there would be something only to totally forget it

I have this game ages, and is one if not THE one of my favorite games and have found lots of these easter eggs, but I have NEVER found that "other" portal on the house :D

the audio log at 3:15 is actually the same one at the start of dishonored 2 in the safe room from the first mission which i think is a easter egg idk

Actually, 451 is a reference to Deus Ex, which is a reference to the original Thief games, which was a reference to the combination of a lock on the door of Looking Glass Studios who made Thief, which is a reference to Fahrenheit 451.

In Brigmore you can kill them before they teleport via stop time. Probably could try in the base game too.

It's not a true Doctor who weeping angel reference unless they only move if your not looking at them

Is your FOV all the way on the lowest setting? That gives me motion sickness to be honest. Also, I guarantee the "ghost" in the back yard is Granny Rags. I doubt it's Daud or one of his Assassins because it's just too small of a figure.

there's a secret dialogue when you look through campbell's secret room behind bars when not detected by overseers, there's two overseers in his secret room looking for the blackmail book

At first, with some glitches or cheat engine mods, you can jump on some soldier and other NPC without committing a capital offense, you can also get some weapons. Just for fun
