Dishonored Death of the Outsider - Hooked Trophy / Achievement Guide - Send someone flying 40 meters using Hook Mines [Silver / 40G]
Mission 2
This can be done easily in mission 2. First, head to the black market and buy a Hook Mine for 60 coins. The black market is marked on the map automatically via the optional objective "review contracts". So just go to that waypoint marker.
After buying the hook mine, backtrack to the cliff before the hostile area, where one dude is fishing. To the side of the fisherman there's a cliff. Set the hook mine to lethal by holding L2 / LT and throw it at the wall above the cliff. Now knock out the fisherman (or any person for that matter), carry the body and throw it towards the hook mine. It will pull the body towards the mine and push it down the cliff (which is a 40+ meter fall). This unlocks the trophy / achievement.
You can make a manual save before planting the mine. This way you can immediately retry if something goes wrong. It's important to set the mine to lethal (glowing red), as the non-lethal version just traps the enemy.

Got in the way of an achievement/trophy.
Great guide. So helpful. Make sure it's an enemy though. Achievement won't pop if you do this on a civilian

i play on all platforms hes on ps4 so its different its trophies they dont get the same gamerscore that xb does

everytime i do it and i specifically put it in the same exact spot on the wall and i threw the guy specifically in the same spot and it doesnt work he doesnt even rip apart he just is like hanging from it its bs powerpyx makes awesome videos he does he keeps them short and gets to the point but he doesnt check consistency to make sure it works everytime before he uses something as a example for a achievement

i just did it like 8 times and its not working i dont mind a challenge but arkane has been known to make some stupid ass achievements like this stupid fucking shit ...... but then you watch people play it on twitch and everyone is playing it on easy well yea your not giving them any reason not to thats another stupid ass fucking thing they do is not having difficulty achievements

how about a achievement for no kills or alerts while playing on very hard and yes i could do it all these noobs would whine and be like no thats too much well then dont get the achievement/trophy then if your not good enough its not like you have to play the whole level at once theres no excuse in a game that allows you to save as much as you want every 5 seconds if you want to be a bitch about it

+GERMEXICAN 617 make sure your hook mine is set to lethal. it should pretty much always tear them to pieces. if any of them make it down the cliff, you should get the achievement. takes a little while sometimes, like 20-30 seconds.
