You may need minor adjustments on lnb rotation.. try doing little bit and check

Tune the channel showing no signal and try adjusting vertical and horizontal very slowly.. mark the current position before changing

Not sure which DTH you are referring. It it is Tata Sky, home channel will not play. It happened for me as well. The smart card and set top box pair was not there for me. I too not used it for 10 months. I called CC and asked them to pair the STB and smart card. They did it on call itself and then it started showing home channel. About quality not showing, it is not related to 1 year non-usage. Check if dish is aligned properly. And strength is also not fixed as you said, So check if cables are connected properly at both LNB and STB.

No bro. It is not normal. You are seeing signal strength but on and off. So something issue in cable or faulty LNB. and quality should be showing some numbers. Quality was showing when you fixed the angle? If not, check one more time. Check if all cables are fixed properly including the cable connectors at both end.

Not sure about the coverage there bro. If the satellite is not having much footage there, you will face this issue.

Tatasky Satellite (GSAT 10) beam is designed to cover Indian region only. So you need a bigger dish than normal DTH dish. Minimum 90cm dish is required for Sri Lanka bro (60 cm is enough for India). But in some places, uses reported signal issue with 90cm dish. So 4ft (120cm) dish will be a good choice.
