Exactly! I can’t understand how these blokes can sit here and put the blame on AFB. “He hasnt been the same since he got dropped” - he scored a try and ran for 200+ metres the next game. The problem is sj it’s clear as day.

SJ took the clause in his contract because no other club wanted him, just like RTS and Ali Lauatiiti who didn't even make it to the top side. Seems like this is the club to retire to and not win a championship.

The chopping and changing of edge combination has definitely affected their defence imo. Poor reads and tackle efforts too. I think with Sj, his body just might be out of it now. Everyone’s saying the same thing that he’s playing too robotic and premeditated. Maybe he just can’t play with a variety in his game or natural instinct because he’s too afraid of getting injured. In the storm and titans game he always looked flimsy and looked like he didn’t wanna run and only looked to pass

@@Samileeee true, the injuries just may have caught up with Sj now. I say that cause last year he showed that he could play with a running, ball playing, and kicking game. But a year later he looks a lot more timid and slower. I wonder if he’ll retire or continue to play next year

@@DarkMagician-105 it’s kinda weird how his archetype of player has played out over his career. Early in his career, he almost had 0 game management skills and was all flare and x-factor. Now later into his career, he’s lost aloy of the x-factor and is all game management now.

TMM is the halfback him and CHT should be the halves RTS either needs to be dropped or be put on the wing coz CNK ain't giving up his FB role to play center which he's horrible at Bunty needs to be in the team his defensive work and ability to set the defensive line was missing.

Complacency is a big factor. Guys like Tohu Harris, Shaun Johnson and Roger all look way past their best. Fonua-Blake has stayed a season too long they should've let him go in pre season when he wanted out. Look at Te Maire Martin without Johnson in the team he looked dangerous now he's back to shuffling the ball along the line and going through the motions. Also a lot of guys that wouldn't make other NRL teams like Montoya and Jackson Ford, they're average and not going to help win you a Premiership. Webster isn't ruthless enough he keeps talking up these older guys as if they'll come right but the desire isn't there.

Fonua Blake has still been one of their best easily. Made 34 tackles without a miss and had no ball so the only impact he could make was on defence. He definitely isn’t a problem

@@StanslaMichael Yeah i agree i remeber watching warriors about 2 years back and i was talking in this chat and ozzie watchers were saying man i'm gonna lose now the warriors are ahead and i was like no your not warriors go hard in the first half then fade out in the second .... second half they lose 42 - 24 first half they held the other team to 0 for the whole first half. thats how predicatable they were. i think the new coach has a chance to do something with them but unless i see them get a few seasons like 5 where they play really well top 8 or on the edge of top 8 i wont support them till then. supported the dragons since 2012 then last year switched to the roosters (loving them this year not so much last year though lol)

Forwards need to make big yardage either direct or in the edges... kicks need to be be critical whether for yardage or for pressure (Chip/grubber). They also need to adapt to different scenarios and plays as they seem to play too conservative at times... AFB,SJ,JT,AP,RTS should drop to NSW cup...bring back TMM and Tuapiki, Luke Metcalf needs to be match fit to return, just saying the obvious that's all😢

Its been said but SJ, Jazz, Harris probably had there swann song season last year and are now past it. RTS is stuck in a position that keeps him too quiet, and Webby seems to want to stick to these guys even though they looked so much faster and more unpredictable when they had more of the young guys from Cup in the squad against Panthers and Dolphins. TMM needs to play 7 with CHT at 6, they are younger hungrier and complement each other far better.

Harris Tavita at 7 with Martin at 6. RTS at fullback. Bring the young props like Zyon Maiuu and Tom Ale to start with AFB on the bench

Teams have bad months of footy and its really not a big deal.Obviously 60 points is unacceptable but all you can do is decide you'll do everything you can as a group so it never happens again.Its also a really bad year of footy with how fast the ruck is and how some teams are struggling to adapt

The blame in this particular game rests in every players performance, alot of people throwing it towards the older blokes but the young blokes werent good either.

Here’s the problem . Coach Webster . He simply can’t bring himself to pick on form . He thinks he can hang off has been names and it ain’t working . Harris , johnson , RTS ,klockstad are toast . It’s typical for warriors to hang on to or buy players when they are washed up . Coach selects the side so it’s his fault . Tuapiki was dynamite at fullback and I bet another club will pick him up .

That was the warrior's worst performance ever, in my opinion. Surely the buck stops with the coach. Andrew Webster lacks experience as a head coach, and they are rudderless on the field, as soon as things go against them. Time to get down and dirty with some Kiwi initiative. Bring back the youngsters from magic round. It's a competition where you have to COMPETE.

But Foxtel don't have a presence in New Zealand so it's open slather.
