"Set of Baals" sounds funny.

You forgot to mention there are actually 2 ways to obtain the Neo Baal Sword: One is by killing Carnage Baal stage 4 but the other option is leveling up your regular Baal Sword and stealing it from the item god. That's how I got my sword before finishing Baal stage 4

He mentioned it in his Rank 42 item guide. He doesn't mention it here because he believes that it is a bug that might get patched. Personally I think he is being overly cautious in that regard, but I am not the one making guides.

Thanks for all the guides! Finally beat C4 Baal last night! I had problems where my Ao was just barely not killing one group. What fixed it for me was using going to the item world shop and just paying to upgrade everything and level to 100 3 green carnage Exodus accessories and her weapon. I started the stage with her wearing V. Thrusters, follow your guide exactly until just before Jumbifying. After moving far away from group, I swapped her equip to the Exoduses and it went super smooth. Just have a few easy trophies left to clean up, and then work on a better PVP D.I! There's some really creative ones out there

For players doing this right around 20 million stats, I highly recommend squeezing a couple of Bravehearts into this strategy. After the explosive start, move Ao to the edge of the map in the center position adjacent to the base panel. Then press cancel on your Celestial Hostess to move her back to the base panel. From there, use Valkyrie Order on Ao, and then move the Celestial Hostess into a corner next to Ao to start a totem. Then, move your War Lady to the corner on the other side of Ao. Press cancel on a character with Braveheart (not Suisen or Maiko), cast Braveheart so it affects Ao and War Lady, and then move the character into the totem corner. Repeat the process for another support character with Braveheart and move them into the totem as well. From this Ao should definitely be at ATK cap, and War Lady should be there too, or pretty close (mine had ~97M). Move Fuji and your two remaining supporters into the totem. You now have three characters that have not acted at the top of the totem who can be activated by pressing cancel on the totem in case you need them for anything after Ao attacks; I use one to toss Suisen to help him get to the other Jumbo character later since I don't have quite enough movement to do it without a toss. In any case, it's time to Jumbo Ao and the War Lady, move Suisen and the Maiko next to Ao, and continue with the steps in the video. Oh, one more thing, after War Lady attacks, you might want to press cancel on Suisen too to get him closer to Ao again for the next turn if needed. In my case the War Lady ended up dying, but Ao was able to finish off the 3rd Baal on the next turn. She died in the process, and there were two Overlord's Vassal's remaining with 1B and 1.5B HP. I was able to take them out by Jumboing and double Bravehearting Fuji, and reviving Ao with my Celestial Hostess (who could also Jumbo, but I didn't need to). Had to take them out twice because of their Corpse evilities. Good luck everyone!

I had trouble getting this to work, so I dropped the male/gender bender stuff in favor of things like Crumbling Body, Ensure Victory, Unstable Power, & Convert Force (I also managed to cast a Braveheart on Ao & the War Lady to cap their ATK). Doing so let me one-shot everything on the first turn. Still a good video to show you what you should be aiming towards though.

PSA for anyone that has the DLC now: It makes all of this ridiculously easier. There are a lot of shared evilities that are significantly better than what is shown here. If you have Plenair, Rozalin, and Melodia, and stack Tactical Guidance, Noble Cause, Dominant Smile (Etna), and Prinny Hat on them (which you can do without even getting them to 9999), put Prinny Hat and We Love Prinnies! (Sicily) on your DDs, you'll get a significantly higher stat boost for everyone plus male/gender-bent characters will get +20% attack power and +30% damage dealt. You can do the same with Bieko, although her evility requires her to be adjacent (its extremely powerful if she's sandwiched between you and the target). I've also got only like 20 reincarnations at most on any of my characters, most are less than 10, although I did have a full set of research-leveled epic-tier rank 38/39 carnage gear (it makes very little difference though) - if you've done any decent amount of grinding you may not even need to Jumbify, and can probably clear all of them within 2 turns (level 1 and 2 easily in a single turn). Dominant Smile+Prinny Hat+We Love Prinnies is basically busted as hell and outstrips Magnificent Cheer+Gender Bender+Shame completely (even in an all-male party the former combo uses 7 slots and the latter without Gender Bender is 8). HL Power (Seraphina) is also easily +24% stats for a single evility slot, and Coin Toss from the gunner is equally cheap +20% attack. In stage 1 and 2, all the enemies are male, so Maiko's Fierce Attack is 75% extra damage dealt. Otherwise you can use Point Blank for the same boost to anything adjacent. Limit Cut, Deadly Footwear, and King's Dignity are still the best bang for evility slots though. I never had to use Ao, and didn't really need to level anyone beyond the two DDs. I also personally hate the Angel/Celestial Host class so I never made one. If it weren't for the need to stack multiples of the Evilities and occasionally throw things you could probably do all 4 stages with Plenair/Rozalin/Melodia/Suisen/a Maiko and 2 DDs (7 people). TBH, I kinda miss the days when you had to beat Baal in a straight-up fight =/ these last few games have been a bit on the cheesy side.

Oh yeah, and HP/DEF/RES wickedhancements negate the need for EM Barrier and Still Standing completely (it stacks with Corpse though so that can still be useful).

Truly a gentleman and a scholar. I've played every Disgaea game up to this point but this was the first one where taking on Baal felt manageable and your guides were a big part of that. I have to ask tho. Is mispronouncing "evility" a bit that I am a latecomer to? I can understand mispronouncing "Pirilika" because even Fuji can't get it right for the entire story campaign. No shade intended, my ears just perk up every time it happens during your videos.

Why u didn't told us earlier for the wickedhancement 1hp resist and null damage taken ? Like this make every baal stage way easier and let us choose other evilities for our character allowing us to not use Ao. I don't understand u but well thanks for the guides anyway.

Thanks for the vid and the comments below. Finally got Stage 4 done! Had to do some item reincarnation and stack gladiators and properties to get enough dmg, crit and atk power to muscle thru this stage. Used Opener over a War Lady and his Jumblify effect kept the left Bottom Baal group stuck together and used weapons with DEF 10%/20% drop properties to increase my damage more. Dominant Smile We Love Prinnies and Prinny Hat was def. a better choice with DLC included.

Do you know how to get the def up wicked enhancement?

Did this without War Lady and Ao. Didn't use them for my entire game since they just felt too innately powerful. Used an Evil Eye and Felynn instead. Wanted to also not use Suisen for this but he's just far too necessary, but I still only needed to get him to level 9999 without any class masteries. The Shame evility really turned out to not help me out at all.

Somehow the exact strategy wouldnt work. The left baal kept killing Ao before she could finish it off, the War Lady was next to useless aside from the jumbify ability. luckily leaving the rightmost Baal last meant I could salvage things by using the angel's revive, which they would survive having been second on the tower, and then whacking them with Ao when she climbed out of the base panel.

I wished their were more rank42 weapons, id love to get a r42 melee monster weapon for a strong melee monster or a magic one for a magic monster.

Good video, but how do get other potions in Compound Wickedhancement? Like the Dark Sun Tea and Blue Dye No.

I dunno if its the recent patch but the right baal is like immortal or something on ps5 i wiped out everyone else one shot with ao this guy, takes no damage 90% of the time and just obliterates my whole party no matter what i do.

for some reason killing the 1st baal kills almost my entire team... leaving me without the damage to cleanup the rest.

Did your build to a T this time, the emp barrier and survival evility actually stack with the potion i had zero issue when before i didnt have those evilities on just the potion, kept dieing.

So i swapped a few things since the hospital buffs cover the 1 hp survive build but now i cant even kill the first baal? I have like a 3k in total multiplier says ill 1 shot baal and then ill hit and he will either take half or zero damage and then a few of my team members will die, maybe u can stack that 1 hp skill with the evilities? I dunno i keep trying, no luck so far.

I was thinking back on the neko magical wall exp grind. I don't have access to carnage so it's a bit harder to max level instantly, but I had a thought. Isn't it viable to make an auto battle D.I. specifically for leveling? Just have it so the main unit keeps using that spell while the others do nothing or maybe even defend.

It would be extremely hard to setup DI that would do it efficiently, if not impossible. And remember that Poltergas is used per turn not battle, so doing a suboptimal farm would be wasting it. Better to just manually farm until you can kill non-LOC Martial 5 max stars (it doesn't take THAT long) and then use your auto battle on that.

Thank you for the great guides. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong, as after jumbifying Ao, I am unable to also Jumbify the War Lady? Meter is full but jumbify is not lit/useable on war lady.

Put them in the jumbification squad, you can jumbify 2 members when it is maxed out.

How do you get 3 characters to unlock the S.O. Seal Evility when this guide only uses two jumbified units (Ao and the Mecha Girl) to do the killing? Also, how would this work with killer characters other than Ao that don't have her unique offensive Evility?

For some reason I just do less dmg? I even have artina and stuff for extra power

I'm at a loss, my mecha will not kill the third baal. And everyone dies the very next turn. What am I doing wrong??

Sadly I do not have enough movement on suisen to complete this yet. I seem to be 2 movement away even with item bill passed and the assembly passed do i need to do something more?

Do you have 3 Vernier Thrusters on him? Also make sure to use the item enhancement on the Item Worlder menu to give all those Vernier Thrusters another point in MOV.

I was missing movement even with the V. Thrusters giving 5 each and the weapon giving +1. I have the DLC, so I used Pleinair's evility, "Acceleration Mascot", which gives +2 movement to all of your units. I swapped out Still Standing on the unit using that evility and put them to the middle of the totem.

And also get the Netherworld Wars chest item from sightseeing again after clearing 3. You can upgrade that movement to 2 as well and you will have it.

3 teams for attack and the others on support?

well at least in that regard it doesnt work after i kill baal once, no matter what i try , my problem is that 1 of the baals still alive and kill all my killer characters even though my stats are high right now like my Higan and my other warlady are 9999999 or close and dont even get close to kill i guess its a diferent tactics after the 1st 4 baal but i dont know how i need to do that

well the thing is that i defeated it once, after that it became night impossible to do it no matter what why?

Is this the last level for the game? Anything else to be unlocked? Is there a new game plus mode?

that's indeed the last level and it doesn't unlock anything other the neo baal sword. at this point you've unlocked everything you need to max as many characters as you want... if you care about that. Otherwise, you can consider your game complete and move on.

So on the PS4 the game softlocks on this Baal stage after either you kill one of them or when you end your turn as soon the enemy moves the game freeze, crazy. Telling me we can’t beat this Baal on ps4 😅😅
