Diseases of thyroid
एक है Thyroid की production बढ़ना, जिसे hyperthyroidism कहते हैं। दूसरा है thyroid की production घटना, जिसे Hypothyroidism कहते हैं। तीसरा है, थायराइड में swelling होना या फिर Growth होना, जिसे Goitre कहते हैं। इन बीमारियों की जांच के बाद ही थायराइड का इलाज किया जाता है।
Goitre types - घेंघा रोग के लक्षण
Thyroid Gland में होने वाली swelling symptom of goitre हो सकता है। Goitre अलग-अलग किस्म के हो सकते हैं। जो आमतौर पर दिखाई देता है, उसे physiological goiter कहते हैं। इसमें हमारे, thyroid hormone की ज़रूरत बढ़ जाती है। ऐसा तब होता है, जब body sudden growth पर होती है, या puberty hit करती है। इसके अलावा Pregnancy के दौरान भी physiological goiter की स्थिति हो सकती है। दूसरे प्रकार का Goitre है, multinodular goitre इसमें thyroid gland या तो nodule के तौर पर enlarge हो जाता है, या पूरा का पूरा थायराइड diffusely enlarged होता है। Multinodular goitre में आप कुछ nodule feel कर सकते हैं। एक अन्य किस्म का goitre है, जिसे endemic goitre कहते हैं। शरीर के जिन हिस्सों में Iodine की कमी होती है, उन हिस्सों में ये goitre हो सकता है। इसमें TSH का स्तर बढ़ जाता है।
Goitre Test
ज़्यादातर goitre की जांच के समय सबसे पहले उन्हें absorb किया जाता है। यदि multinodular goitre होता है, तो उसकी जांच की जाती है। Thyroid gland की सबसे ज़रूरी जांच है ultrasound। अगर कोई nodule या फिर mutlinoudle है तो उसकी आगे की जांच fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) द्वारा की जाती है। Fine needle aspiration cytology के दौरान doctor, thyroid gland की swelling का एक छोटा सा sample लेते हैं और उसको test करते हैं। इससे पता चलता है कि किस किस्म की थायराइड की swelling है। इसके मुताबिक आगे की goitre treatment plan की जाती है।
Thyroiditis Symptoms
Thyroid gland में एक ओर बीमारी होती है, जिसे thyroiditis कहते हैं। इसमें अलग-अलग कारणों से thyroid gland में Inflammation होती है। Autoimmune disorder से thyroid gland को नुकसान पहुंच सकता है। Thyroiditis symptoms हैं, गले में दर्द होना और कभी-कभी बुखान आना। Thyroiditis के कारणों को ध्यान में रखते हुए ही इसका इलाज किया जाता है। इसके लिए doctor से संपर्क करना ज़रूरी है क्योंकि वो शरीर में antithyroid antibodies के स्तर की जांच करते हैं और उसके आधार पर treatment शुरू करते हैं।
Thyroid की Surgery
Thyroid gland की बीमारी जब nodule बन जाती है तो कभी-कभी doctor, surgery की भी सलाह देते हैं। Surgery से पहले ultrasound और ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration cytology के ज़रिए एक diagnosis किया जाता है। थायराइड के circulating hormones (T3 And T4) check किए जाते हैं कि वो ठीक हैं कि नहीं और फिर surgery advice करते हैं।
Thyroid Gland Cancer
Thyroid gland में कई बार cancer भी हो सकता है। Thyroid gland में अलग-अलग तरह के cancer हो सकते हैं। ज़्यादातर thyroid cancer को कम फैलने वाले tumor माना जाता है, पर इनका सही समय पर इलाज किया जाना ज़रूरी होता है और इस दौरान doctor की सलाह मानना बेहद ही आवश्यक है।

3Year pehele meri thyriod normal thi,aaj se 3month pehele bhi normal thi.aaj phir neck me thoda dard kar raha hai aur saas lene me thodi muskil ho rahi hai😥mujhe abhi tak malum nahi hai ki mujhe kaun sa thyriod hua hai,mai confuse hu.dr.ne mujhe medicine nahi diya.main monthly follow up me jati thi.abhi toh kuwait me hu.aaj 2year k bad phir se gale me dard hone lagi hai.
