I have tremendous respect for him, especially hearing for the first time how he handled the 1992 Rodney King Riots. He's a fine actor and a great human being. I have been a fan since seeing him in Selena. Please continue to do more quality films!!!!!

Disciplined to do the things that you love to do when you don't feel like doing it. His wisdom in that answer was real learned wisdom. That any of us can take forward into life.

I met Mr. Olmos in the Feria de Libro in Houston when my son Jean Paul was 5 years old. He was charmed by my cute son , he asked him how he was and my boy asked him if he was the guy from La Familia and he laughed and asked him he could take him home , my son said No. Mr. Olmos was so down to earth. We admired him so much.

don't like the guy. he's a ball & chain to aspiring Latinos ( gente & familia ALWAYS COMES FIRST!!!......STAY DOWN & BE HOPELESS ) You're either a sell out or the white establishment isn't giving us enough opps....WHICH IS IT? STOP PAYING HEED TO THIS HYPOCRITE. A great actor who could've/should've been the Chicano version of Clint Eastwood, Robert DeNiro....but didn't.

what's his point? nobody notices the maid and the janitor anyway.......this is Catholicism cultural oppression at work IMO. So only the rich and powerful in Mexico can keep stepping on and crushing everybody.....NOT LISTENING TO THIS.

Jaime Escalante went there, did his job, during that period of time kids from the poorest parts of Los Angeles had a taste of ,,,,,,opportunity, later mister Escalante retired and went back to Bolivia, the LA education system went back to what it was before him.

Great actor. Great storyteller. Compelling personal story. But when he talks politics he sounds like Paris Hilton. Yawn.
