Alright, a couple additions on my part: - Marsalga, Askah, Yaern, Floritte, Hanke, Neilikka, Rhus (and Rain) are all part of Caledfwlch Unit 1, with Marsalga being the supreme commander of Caledfwlch as a whole. Ilskah is the chancellor of Sherna, and Mulen the vice chancellor. - The reason Neilikka is losing her memories is due to all the experiments she went through. It seems that this is also the reason Rhus felt so pressured to defeat Omega quickly (resulting in his fight with Rain), before Neilikka lost her memories entirely, although it’s unclear as to how that would have affected Neilikka’s memories. I blame that on the writers. - Lasswell found Yshe's spear in Ilskah's chambers while searching for clues. He was drawn to it and had a vision of Yshe when picking it up. - Klaas did indeed love Snovlinka despite their arranged marriage. But it was also a central aspect to her character that she was very uncertain of Klaas’ feelings towards her because of how stoic he was. I believe she didn’t fully understand the truth until the present day, when he was finally defeated (since, as mentioned, he was trying to protect her all this time, even though she had become one with Omega). To me, that was important to give her closure. - A central aspect of the whole reincarnation business was actually the reincarnations asserting themselves as their own person, rather than as a vessel for the desires of a dead person inside their mind. Even those that didn’t fundamentally disagree with their predecessors still didn’t like them meddling in their business, like Metze or Hanke. And Floritte demonstrated that the influence can happen in reverse as well. In any case, this whole thing likely just happened to give a happy end to the past characters, who originally all had quite a grim fate. Which is why I’m sad now that Haveh alone still couldn’t get his wish fulfilled. Reminder that he died in the exact same way as Ilskah, which is why Vanharma found the scene so familiar, being the only one who saw Haveh die. - As sxm said, Lehftia was the “original Fina”. In WotV, the Will of Light actually reincarnated the tragic villains of the Warriors of the Crystals storyline as well, so that lies within her powers. For Fina, she wanted to preserve Lehftia’s powers as a fail-safe plan to counter Omega should something happen to Snovlinka’s bloodline. It’s also explained that the Finas would always be able to reincarnate as long as one of them was still alive. Why it’s that way is anyone’s guess, maybe that’s just the limits of the WoL’s powers to interfere with the balance of the universe. In any case, the light Fina from the Aldore vs Hess era was also caught up in the interdimensional transport that sent the Veritas to Lapis and died in the process. Most likely she wasn’t able to reincarnate during the centuries to come because Dark Fina was sealed in crystal. But why the two Finas fused and were unable to coexist in S1 is a plot hole that annoys the heck out of us lore enthusiasts in the JP channel. All I can say is to not take Dark Fina’s explanations as gospel since she wasn’t even aware there was another Fina, so she just came up with an explanation that made sense to her. In any case, great video you two. Too bad I couldn’t be there too Btw, I feel the same hesitation about calling my write-ups "summaries" as you, sxm :p

Thanks for the bonus notes! And absolutely, the fact that the two-in-one Fina still annoys the lore enthusiasts just means that we're due an explanation at some point. I don't think our theory in the Discord is all that off; that when Light Fina died in the merge with Lapis, she couldn't reincarnate with Dark Fina in crystal stasis. Their souls inhabited the same body as she waited. Since Dark Fina had always wanted to be a more idealized, innocent version of herself, she essentially allowed Light Fina to body-snatch her and take the reins. It created a glitch in the system, and caused the difficulties they experienced in S1. That's all speculative, however. We still need an official answer.

I haven't been keeping up with the story so maybe there is an explanation, but hasn't Ihana commented before that vanharma looks younger than expected under his helmet? Runda was a very robotic looking robot, so did his rebuilding make him an android or was that all just a red herring earlier in the story?

5:00 Correction: This is a proto-omega Vanharma stole and modified when he rescued Ihana from Sherna. It was part of his plan to fight Omega 👍 edit: 16:45 Also that's Will of Light, not Oblivion (whoopsie!)

So, I was right about Lehftia! When she faded away, I thought of her as proto-Fina. I guessed that the two Wills had made the Finas as a rebirth of Lehftia. BTW, thanks to Sinzar & guest for all the hard work.

Peak of the game was season 2 storywise frankly. Man this game was so much better before neo-visions xD

I was cool with NV and NVA, what ruined it for me was all the extra stuff after it. Some fights had too much stuff going on that I got lost. Pretty much if you couldn't one shot a boss you'd lose.

@@chriskline3763 I do not fully disagree but I do feel like the whole introduction of NV and NVA made things considerably worse for the game, and I will explain my reasoning. So before NV and NVA when we had 7 star units, which was the peak of the game imo, we had to pull at most 4 units to get the full value out of the units coming out on a weekly basis. NV's came with the whole Vision Cards and Abilities locked behind EX levels, let alone the fact that an entire part of their kit is locked behind having to pull 2 copies assuming we are referring to a brave shift unit. The previous system was simple yet effective, all they had to do was get a little more creative with their units, not introduce an unnecessary rarity that came with a bunch of problems. One of the biggest issues I have is the way their FOMO system works when it comes to limited Vision Cards. Locking something that has now become essential to gearing units behind a limited time paywall is a dogshit move and wildly unnecessary. The whole Vision Cards system is all in all extremely unneeded because all it does is needlessly complicate building characters more and also gives the design team more factors to think about when "designing boss fights" (and I put that in quotation marks cause there is no design to speak of, every boss from a certain point onward is just a big DPS check where more often than not you do not even need a tank around). In the 7 star era, you'd pull your units, build em and all was well. Some amazing gear was time limited but that is still not something that could not be resolved with some good management. The boss fights back then, and even further back in the 6 star era were substantially better. You could not always one shot everything coming your way and your tanks and healers and buffers actually mattered. Post NV I never felt like that was the case anymore, all you had to really do was pull the next fancy unit they released every week and you're golden. I don't even want to get started about how the whole NV situation rendered the vast majority of old 7 star units obsolete. Anything that wasn't/isn't an NV unit, or a narrow selection of the good NVA units that exist, was just not worth bringing to your team and only serves the purpose of piling up in your unit list, or just another TMR/STMR copy of said unit for your gearing options. All in all I feel like all those problems were not properly addressed with the NV system that's been going on for god knows how long. I want complex and interesting fights, but I feel like there's nothing like that in the game anymore, let alone team building variety since NV's came along. Sorry for the wall of text, I loved this game and hate to see it like this lol. Please do reply if you feel like I'm wrong somewhere cause I've been out of touch with the game for some time now.

@@chriskline3763 That is true as well, but I do believe the root of the problem are NV's and their introduction to begin with, like a new rarity for units was very much not needed. Lack of content is one issue for sure but the fact that the majority of the old units have been rendered obsolete even in their NVA forms is quite annoying. 7 star was perfectly fine as a system, they just had to cut back on the power creep and keep things balanced when it came to supports, healers, tanks and damage dealers. It feels like there is no team building variety anymore, fights are just a big DPS check now, whereas before you'd have a good amount of options for buffers, tanks and healers and an okay selection of DPS units too. Amazing game, concept and mechanics, horribly mismanaged. Older units now only serve the purpose of providing TMRs and STMRs, like you would not use any of them in actual content if there were any. And with NV's its even worse cause how can you make content that is not too easy for NV's but also not horribly difficult for older units so that people can use what they like reasonably? The power difference is on a whole different scale and that is a huge reason why the game is flopping the way it is besides content drought. One of the worst aspects is the fact that Vision Cards exist. Not a bad concept, but horribly executed, especially the ones that are quite literally overpowered and not only locked behind a mountain of lapis needed, but also time limited, which creates even more FOMO as if that wasn't a thing with limited gear for players that weren't with the game since the beginning. FOMO isn't bad but there's limits. Apologies for the wall of text, I love this game and hate to see it like this. If you feel like I'm missing something please tell me, I would love to talk about the game more cause its the only enjoyable thing about it at this point since the game is in shambles xD
