Great interview. I could tell you are real fans.
Molly Hatchet along with Lynyrd Skynyrd have been long gone, just a couple of tribute bands using a legit band name to get by.
I was at Hatchets warm up gig at Nassau Coliseum and left happily before Squire came on. But Hatchet was commercially done by that point and 6 months later were playing club gig at L'amours in Brooklyn.
Hatchet was one of my first concerts back in 1979, They where with 38 Special and the Outlaws. They where my favorite until Danny Joe left.
I loved Farrars records with Hatchet. Probably as good as the first two, little more intricate in the playing.
When you grew up in Jacksonville and you watched Hatchet at DINO'S ON NORTH MAIN ST. for $5 cover. Some body beside Danny Joe ain't cutting it. Sorry Jamie. Always heard he was a stand up guy. Live Molly Hatchet was the best back in the day.
Flirtin with desaster was the very first LP I ever bought. And I see it still as a master piece of rock music.

Thanks for tuning in!
No one in Jacksonville takes the current Hatchet seriously. I don't know anyone who would pay money to see them.Unless you've never heard the original band. Then and now is 2 different bands.Original and Tribute.

Poor Tribute !
Dreams is great 👍
No Danny Joe left because of fame, he wanted to start his own band but it didn’t go as well so he came back
