After visiting Clearwater beach and going on a dolphin cruise the kiddo wanted to swim with a dolphin for her birthday. Thankfully we live in Orlando where Discovery Cove is! Discovery Cove is a second park right across the street from Seaworld. Seaworld admission DOES NOT INCLUDE Discovery cove.
It is an all-day "resort" that includes food, drinks, and everything else you would need to enjoy it. It is not cheap though. Just to get in starts at about $180 and if you want to do the Dolphin Package that starts at $260. These prices VARY wildly depending on what time of year you go.
Even though Discovery Cove is a resort it is not a hotel. They do offer packages that include hotel accommodations at nearby hotels.
We had a BLAST and the kiddo was over the moon about her memorable birthday adventure.
