TripleS can be confusing if you jump into watching them blind lol. So they are planning on having 24 members total. Currently 16 have been revealed. Anything that isn’t listed as specially TripleS is a sub unit. The goal is to have fans pick and choose subunits and concepts (and if they sell REALLY well, the subunit can return) and the full group will have a yearly release. Rising is the “group” debut, and because there were only 10 members known at the time, only 10 were in the release. Generation was from a 4 member subunit. Girls Capitalism was from an 8 member subunit

TBH, the idea behind the group wouldn’t be as confusing if they just waiting until all 24 were revealed before having the “full” group debut.

Keep in mind that the vision behind this 24 member concept is Jaden Jeong. He was the creative director behind Loona, that debuted members one at a time with solo albums in 18 months and 3 sub units before forming a 12 member group. And now this label has 5 of the Loona members!

i know you're a vocal guy and you were commenting a lot on the adlibs and background harmony......the main girl doing it is Dahyun (obvi she's the main vocalist....in the second song she's the one in the white t shirt). What's cool about her (outside of her voice) is that she actually had already had OST songs on a few dramas even before debuting with TripleS. On your own time check out her OST to the drama Reborn Rich (the song is called 'I'm in love with you'). She also had a song on Dr. Romantic 3. Very very good voice!

Atmosphere is an unreleased track until this moment, first time they performed was at preCon February 13, 2023 with Jiwoo, Naky, Kaede, Dahyun and now with LOVElution show case, this was voted by fans to be used as special stage to their upcoming US tour Authentic which starts mid september, so don't worry about sync bc they still have time.

btw nakyoung from acid angel subunit is actually bibi's sister ! I think the concept for this group is interesting plus what I like is that it seems like it also helps the girls who are still in school actually finish their education and stuff - at least from the tidbits I read about them so that's neat

Atmosphere is an unreleased song! They let the fans choose which song to perform on special stage on their app because this group is a fan participating group!

tripleS may not have the best dancers/vocalists, but these are the things I like about tripleS: - strong branding + great vision for their group - no crazy hair colors! Just black or natural dark hair, as they should be! - their title tracks are just easy and breezy. Not in-your-face typical kpop, but not too subdued either. It's just right - their b-sides are so superior (Beam, Seoul Sonyo Sound, Dejavu, Charla, Complexity, etc.) - they release a lot of music, like a lot. Since October 2022, they released 4 EPs already, consisting of around 30 songs in the span of only 9 months. (this October 2023 another sub-unit will debut with probably 8 more songs) - their EPs consist of minimum 6 songs to a maximum of 9 (and they don't call it "full album") - the group looks/sounds/feels so expensive. You can tell they have a strong team directing them

their dance line is pretty damn good lol and they have a decent vocal line with dahyun and jiwoo… i hope the remaining S are much better vocally but saying they have weak dancers is a stretch

I may disagree with the best dancer/vocalist opinion. Dahyun, Shion, Sohyun, Nakyoung, Jiwoo and Kotone are really good vocalists! while Hyerin, Nakyoung, Yubin, Kotone, Lynn are good dancers, and fyi Kaede is one (if not the best) dancer of 5th gen along with Natty, Ruka and Goeun. I would say that they might be lacking of strong main rappers, but that is not really important

I've been listening to them since Generation but with Girl's Capitalism I kinda want to stan them, the video helped a lot, so fun!!

Tbh their b sides are all better like easier on the ears forreal! colorful, Rolex, charla, beam, the baddest, complexity, speed love, dimension like their discography is SO GOOD AND SO VARIED already the b sides i feel like are a little more replayable for my taste

Their bsides are so good but I have found myself enjoying every single title track too!!! Also that little impromptu vocalisation you did was so good and actually made it sound better 🤩

i love the versatility triple s has tbh HOWEVER u missed imo the best group combo they had with krystal eyes. that album was underrated

I would recommend the album girls capitalism is on its out of this world tbh something i would expect early loona to release

their bsides are crazy

tripleS gathers girls who have varying experiences of training. Some have no or little training before debuting, some have experiences working as an idol or being on survival shows, and some have been training under major companies. Their goal is not to present a "finished product" but allow them to grow over time. Different sub-units also allow different types of performances and members' interactions. I can see tripleS's model offers something different and interesting. Plus they have good music and nice messages.

i agreeeeee, i think tripleS is tapping into the same/similar genre that new jeans is popular for which is like all about the ~vibes~

I personally loved the song. I didn't find it generic. There's definitely parts where they could've kept going or expanding, like the trap beat bridge 18:19 and when the last girl 18:25 "says call me beauty," like another verse was coming.

Wow I listen to Rising all the time and just enjoy it but everything you said and the little bits u came up with on the spot would go do perfect and then they could’ve done that whole break thing right after the power vocal

Just to add on to that really quick, I follow a girl on here that writes and does the demos for K-pop groups and I remember her saying that some Adlibs and parts just don’t get put in for reasons Idk

Hi you should react to their other subunit +(Kr)ystal eyes with their songs "Cherry Talk" & "Touch+" . On October their next subunit Evolution consist of 8 members will be debut

In the video w all black they should've worn Adidas/Ivy Park or sumn w a slight graphic so we could see some distinction in their moves, the lighting ate their clothes up big time.

i get it now after spam watching quite a few of your vids over the week. I get what you want from music now. You are more of a vocal guy than a beat/ music person. I understand now. Not saying that the beat and stuff doesn't matter to you. But a rich vocal is more for you. Makes sense to me now. It's also why i was disagreeing with you more. I care more for the beat/music and interesting sounds. cool. I still may be wrong lol

Haha you’ve pretty much nailed it. I’m okay with the vocal taking a backseat if the production is clean with a pretty hook and nice chord progressions that resolve WITH a clean baseline. Examples of this being the production on Red Velvet - Perfect 10, it of course has good vocals but the production is what wins for me. I’m an R&B mid tempo but clean production above all else matters to me. Onewe - Aurora or Khalid - Talk are two varied examples of production I obsess over.

@@Koko3opok that’s all I was asking in that other comment. I guess I worded it wrong. I was confused as to why you got so annoyed by it. Either way glad I get it now. Because I had clicked on vids and was like surely he will like this song. And was like wait huh. Lol I was trying to understand why but I guess I misunderstood the reason as to why you were like nothing hit me. But yay I get it now. I still don’t quite understand when you say it being produced bad but I am sure I will understand little by little. Thanks for your reactions!

@@loveitleaeit Oh i don't recall which other comment you mean lool sometimes I'm snappy cos it's hard to get tone online and I read and interact with many comments that are not very nice so unfortunately some well meaning people catch stray bullets lol. When I say bad production usually I mean the clarity of the mix, if the it's muffled or the vocals/instruments are hidden in the mix or when there's excessive cheap sounding synths or cheap sounding drums etc.

@@Koko3opit’s fine. I’m good with you not remembering. Like I said I worded it wrong so I assume it came off way more aggressive than I meant. But know that it was not meant in a harmful manner. I was honestly just confused and trying to understand. Ahhh you hate the things I love in production then 🤣🤣🤣 not the vocals being hidden part but synths and drums part. Also thank you for explaining that. I appreciate it.
