Jimin actually flew out to the US to choose this choir, it shows how much he cares about his art. He chose this choir specifically to fit the song. Such a beautiful song. The song was written by Ghstloop, Pdogg, Jimin, and Supreme Boi. Also Rm helped write the song ‘like crazy’.

Not just the darkness and light, but the dancers at the beginning are a suffocating weight, overpowering him as they all latch on, but at the end, not only has he been "flung" high in the sky away from them, but they lie defeated as he rises, transformed. He loves choirs in his songs. "Friends", that he also wrote and produced had a beautiful choir. There's actually a documentary, which I think is called "ON Documentary" that actually shows the choir they usually use

Your vids are never too long. With BTS it takes a while to unpack everything they pack into one song. To do it properly and get everything, you need to analyze the lyrics- vocals-visuals-instrumentals. Nothing is one or two dimensions…. You have to see ALL the tiny details in the whole picture. In the handwritten lyrics notebook that came with his album Jimin drew a tree next to the lyrics of Set Me Free and he wrote rebirth as a keyword next to it. so I think rebirth is actually another key concept that he's trying to express in this song.

Seeing this made me that much more excited, for the full album, Jimin’s “FACE” released on March 24, along with his main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Jimin’s other songs “Face-Off”, “Alone”, as well as hidden track “Letter” are all equally amazing! Hi guys dont know if anyone told you yet but the words on his body were actually hand written and it's a German poem thank for the great reaction as usual 💜💜💜

Jimin is just like his dance, graceful and elegant but very strong. He's very complex, and that makes him fascinating. He'll always put a smile on his face and bring joy and lightness around him. And then you learn years later that he wasn't doing so well. He said this album was very personal and if you listen to it in the right order: Face off, Interlude, Like Crazy, Alone and finally Set me Free, then you understand the journey. And I find that incredible, because we'll never know exactly what's behind his lyrics, why this depression and what exactly he's trying to free himself from, is it his inner demons, society's norms, the haters...? We won't know, but we can all interpret it differently and appropriate these emotions according to our own experiences. And that's the beauty of art. And Jimin is a true artist.

Jimin has mentioned how angry he was during lockdown. They had worked hard for a world wide tour. Jimin is a performance artist. He performed his beautiful airy dance live. His choice is always to dance live when possible. To have the performance snatched away made him angrier than at any other period of his life.

The new Jimin Introduction video 2023 is amazing. Definitely worth watching. And the Jimin choreography practice sketch on BangtanTV shows his hard work for Set me free and Like crazy.

SMFPT2 is a masterpiece. I'm so glad you posted a reaction to it today, on Jimin's birthday. Jimin has said that this is his favourite from the album.

Although this isn’t the title track, Jimin is most proud of this song. I can see why. I loved this song from the beginning, and it only gets better the more you listen to it. It’s a masterpiece.

There is so much symbolism in this, which has been so cool to parse, especially seeing everyone's different takes. Heck, I just realized something new the other day, and I've watched this a bajillion times since it dropped. So much of the choreo is just flat out brilliant. The lift at the end? Lie had the same thing. To me, he finally broke free of the Lie. I honestly gasped and burst into tears when I watched the first time.

I find Filter much darker than most people which is definitely part of me connecting them. Honestly, that line could probably be to the whole album, but it really struck me with SMF.

That's Jimin, he's really creative with his music. It's what i love about him, like i listen to many artists but i only stan Jimin because he offers more than singing. The anticipation for his album is different from everything else because with him, it's always new and unexpected. He said multiple times recently he's making new music so he most likely will release a new album before he enlist for military service lol. I'm so excited

Some choreo reminded me of Jackson Wang song called Blow. The more i watch the more i find things i did not notice on the 1st watch. The body tat German poem is beautiful and very fitting. It’s a tragedy that this song did not get the promotion and recognition it deserved! It was (still is) huge but imagine how massive it would’ve been if his label did its job and actually promoted him/this song. I don’t think I’ll ever get over that! This is a masterpiece; Jimin and his team are brilliant - from the concept to the deep purpose behind the lyrics, set design and all the small and big details in between.
