    Dear Sir, thank you so much for this video. I found out about NC in 2006. NC is a geologist's dream. I found river quartz and a associate found ruby nuggets about the size of rock salt in a creek bed. Thanks again regarding fossils.

    I hate that most good fossil hunting locations are now closed to the public. If anyone has a spot creek or land they would be willing to let me look on please let me know! I’m in NC

    I personally have had better luck in the smaller branches that are flowing into the main creek or river. And any where that there is erosion and wash outs
