Also, to touch on the overstimulation comment, that’s what the younger crowd loves, genre irrelevant, because my teenage siblings & the kids I work with I see the stuff they watch/ listen to & I’m like damn that’s a lot. I feel the more focused performances are definitely for people who enjoy older music.

@@arlequintaste7210it’s not them that gave him lines. It’s himself. He chooses his lines. Maybe they did make a certain thing and was like “hey soul? Do you feel it?” But soul usually chooses his lines :) he doesn’t want many right now because he doesn’t have much confidence in his singing ability as he does with his dancing! That’s probably why he usually gets the dance breaks :)

They did a collab with Pink Sweats, Gotta Get Back. I really love their vocals on it and it's mostly in english. Also shout out to anyone bugging you about reacting to them cause I've been a stan since debut and feel like they are still underrated.

They have several more vocal songs that are my favorites. Different Song for Me, Peacemaker, their PinkSweats ‘At My Worst” cover…they definitely have vocals and can sing so well.

2:40 jiung is such an underrated dancer (intak and jongseob too!!) most people just recognize soul which of course he is insanely amazing but i love people appreciating them too!!!

this just popped up on my feed and i love ur reaction style and critiques !! i agree with a lot of ur points tbh (piwon r one of my ult groups) and i think the main factor holding them back is their company, fnc seemingly rarely take risks when it comes to music/concepts etc, even regarding sf9 who have just been stuck doing different versions of the same sexy concept for the last seven or so years. like i cant help but think how a company like sm or even hybe would utilize their talents !! 🥲they truly r the full package performance wise, not lacking in vocals, rap or dance but even then it does feel difficult to differentiate them from other 4th gen bgs, though with their most recent album including more than words (which was fully written, composed and produced by the members) i think it allowed a new side showing more of their charms to come through and i really hope they push forward into the future with a more rnb influence bc it suits them so well ! their next project should hopefully be a full album so im really excited to see which direction they take with it :)

Going to this comment about how fnc doesn’t allow them to explore as much and other companies may allow them to do so . I feel like it’s kinda surface level opinion on them , mainly because looking at their other albums and songs they definitely explore different styles of music and making it their own. As well as not going into the typical kpop route where they make something cute n do a 180 to something sexy . I feel like fnc (although I don’t like the company but for different reasons) allow them to have a say in making and choosing the styles of music . We only know this cuz the members have already said that each album emulates their own personal style. Another thing u said about not being differentiate them from other 4th gen groups is quite surprising as I feel they use their chaotic energy to create a different feel from others n the style of rapping and unusual repetitive beats makes their sound more identifiable( not saying that it’s a new thing ). As much as fnc is a questionable company 1 thing is for sure they definitely allow the members their own creative space to do as they please and find what they want to showcase . The boys even release their own music on SoundCloud . That can help get a feel on the different members and how they integrate it into the group’s sound - no hate on ur take it truly gave me a different perspective of how they are perceived ❤❤❤

@@Keeungwife appreciate ur take and i’m aware of everything u said !! i truly love piwon with all my heart but i still stick by the opinion fnc is holding them back. i feel kpop comebacks r becoming a lot more concept, sound and visual driven and i just feel like fnc isn’t really going above and beyond with anything the way other companies r for their groups (ie compare a sm or hybe group/s recent concept pictures vs fnc groups, it just doesn’t hold up imo) and as for their sound i still adore their music and their last album is definitely some of their best work! but looking at it from an outside perspective if i were a casual listener just hearing their title tracks, i don’t think they would greatly stand out against other fourth gen bgs, but that’s not saying i want them to 180 into cute/mature etc concepts bc i don’t rly think it’d suit them as a group, i would just like to see them experiment more (possibly a sound like triple h, old school shinee etc !!) 🤗 piwon r all so so talented and genuine i just wanna see them have the biggest and best career possible :) (edit: rereading this it sounds quite negative 😭 promise i love these boys to the moon and back i just want fnc to utilise them better lmao)

you're so right about bgs trying to hit every beat in the instrumental. it just comes of like they don't know wth to do without having something choreographed in. on the other hand I love how they have these little sections of them just doing their thing esp soul just vibing on last choruses eats every time!

I loveee your reaction video. This is exactly how i react to grps that im not ulting. Seeing your perspective without the rose colored glasses i have for p1h really hit for me and i can agree with everything you said. i just hope p1harmony can make their break next cb which is most likely a full album, they said they have personally been working on these songs for a while now so i hope everything kinda fits into place this time around.

I love p1harmony my slight criticism is I tend to like their B sides more than the title tracks and I don't dislike their title tracks. on the point abt "idols not vibing/just standing there" like even though there's an audience maybe the difference in concert culture doesn't rly help? immediately after u said "there's ppl there standing there do something" i realized that the crowd is dead quiet and also not doing anything so maybe there's not as much energy for the idols to receive to be able to vibe/move around while singing in front of mics when there are crowds that are more focused on getting the perfect fancam/video to post... just my two cents... it's also something i experienced when i saw nct dream at prudential center, there were a lot of ppl around me more focused on videos instead of being in the moment/side-eyeing me for screaming lyrics and having fun. and its fine to take videos for memories/of favorite songs cause i did that too but im sure the idols would appreciate more cheers/general hype from the crowd instead of just initial screams... sorry this got long LOL

Yes someone mentioned this on a live and I totally get it but it’s also not the audiences job to set the tone/vibes. You have to perform with so much presume that the audience has no choice but to join in!

honestly i think you’ll like butterfly which is a b side from their debut album it’s soooo good

If you are going to do an album reaction I’d honestly recommend disharmony:stand out and disharmony:Find out Nemonade Butterfly Before the dawn Breakthrough is also a song that originally was an intro but because of the demand it got produced as a full song and the pre chorus is absolutely stunning. absolute masterpieces that I think you will really appreciate vocally and production wise :)

thanks for your reactions! i agreed with points you said, however for 'they seems scared to vibe to a song without choreo' part.... i think it's mainly because it was from their showcase, which they might felt more restricted because they performed their new songs for the first time + korean audiences are more timid usually 😔 they were looser and have interacted better with crowds too before! here's an example from their concert kzread.info/dash/bejne/hHygtppsYNiTqNY.html , although maybe you have to just check it by yourself because it's a fancam 😬

Thank you for reaction to P1HARMONY ❤ about the artists perform with crowd and interaction with other member, I think WINNER from YG is best for this. And mostly group in 2nd gen and before that is good for that. P1HARMONY is the new baby group I like, and I hope they improve more in the future 😊

Yess something like Touch conceptually but with more drama and quirks in the make up, styling and production.

I don't COMPLETELY agree with your comments about More than words and them standing still like they're scared. I can understand that for other groups, and especially for members like soul who barely get any lines, but this song is a VIBE, its for subtle movements, and doesn't really leave room for freestyle/choreo, considering the amount of soul put into singing. Plus, they do actually vibe, all of them do a little something, even when it isn't their parts, whether is jongseob hitting his hands in the air to the beat, or theo doing little hand hypes in the middle, its just not shown because of the solo cams. They do it even when they are sitting down too, singing little adlibs that aren't even in the song, like in the other live singing video they did of more than words. I believe its more of the fact that it was a showcase, they can't do anything wrong as its the first time being shown live.

The song being a vibe is exactly why I said what I said. There’s moments here and there but for the most part it *feels* and at times looks way more awkward than it should.

Yea I remember you talking about the boy group choreo thing and I think it also affects how the performance level bcs they dont sit into some moves it sometimes look as I they're just focusing on the choreo instead of translating the song through it probably experience bcz I do see it less with groups that have been around longer

I know what u mean but piwon has variety of personalities yet harmonized. Jiung wrote the lyrics of ‘More than words’ while composed with Keeho. His interpretation of the song is differ cos he is in a deep concerned expression kinda vibes i guess. I also curious if Jiung wanted the song to be slower ^^ this might be Keeho’s style. I personally think the context would match fusion jazz than disco ;)

This was such a fun reaction! People have put a lot of suggestions already but they have some nice covers and live vocal performances - Love Me For Me, Maniac cover, Nemonade. Their early stuff also has a few more blues/soul vibes. Keeho's got some nice soul in his voice. And Jiung is a serious triple threat with so much stage presence - he's definitely my fave. I feel like Seventeen (definitely) and Ateez can deliver a vocal performance without choreo but purely vocal performance can be so hit and miss😆give us some chemistry i know you Have It.

You might want to listen to the final p-side track off their most recent album, “I Am You”! I think you’d really enjoy the vocals/harmonies. It’s a slow R&B track and one of the best songs they’ve released.

About ur comment on them doing too much with the choreo , I think it’s to add to the chaotic energy of the song , the song itself is fast paced and all over the place so the dancing kinda adds to that energy. I definitely recommend you listening to some of their other b-sides like : butterfly If you call me Peacemaker Follow me Before the dawn End it Gotta get back I am you They all have different aspects but can resonate with each other ( and they are my favs 😁) .Another thing was the live performance , I definitely think it was just that performance of theirs as they performed this for a music show and they were a lot more active and responsive while singing . I saw another comment talking about the crowd and it’s definitely a cultural thing. Even in music shows they (the crowd) don’t react as much when they (piwon) are doing a stand still performance, I think this is to get the whole experience or to make sure to be respectful idk but I’ve seen the crowds like that for other groups which is kinda sad .
