Discover Wisconsin: Wisconsin’s State Parks - Where Nature Meets Wow

Wisconsin is home to 47 fun-filled, incredibly gorgeous and bucket list-worthy state parks. The state’s largest park is Devil’s Lake State Park in Baraboo, where kayakers and rock climbers alike relish the views of the quartzite bluffs and smooth-as-glass lake. Discover even more breathtaking vistas and meandering trails at High Cliff State Park along Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin’s largest inland lake. Heading to northwest Wisconsin, we’ll tour Amnicon Falls State Park and Pattison State Park, the latter of which is home to Wisconsin’s highest waterfall, Manitou Falls. In Door County, we explore a beautiful beach, early 1880s historic lighthouse and the only golf course in the Wisconsin State Parks system at Peninsula State Park. Join us for a memory-making trip to a handful of Wisconsin’s stunning state parks!

1:45 .. He is incorrect when he stated that Glacial Lake Wisconsin drained thru Devil's Lake(Spirit Lake). It couldn't have drained thru Devil's lake because there are terminal moraines on both ends. Glacial Lake Wisconsin drained "around" the Baraboo Hills near Portage. Before the glaciers, the Wisconsin river 'used' to run thru the gorge until the glaciers formed the two moraines..

Been to devil's lake and door county but the door is my favorite. Grew up in Milwaukee and went to door county every year. Gotta eat at Al Johnson's with the goats on the roof and have ice cream at Wilson's! I could go on and on about door county but it would take too long ❤️

Everybody has an accent. I'm a Wisconsinite. Rumor has it that our accent is most like Canada 🤷🏻. Yes, A and O is probably the most noticable pronunciations. The way we say Wisconsin is a huge indicator.

At Lakeside in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, 54935... There are a bunch of free sticks to plant so that they turn into trees. Red to grey Ashwood Trees, Pines (including Ashwood Pines). And a bunch of other trees to choose from. They trim them and leave the sticks out for people to take them home. They've done that very recently, so go ahead and take as many sticks as you want. Just search the park. The entrance off of Allen Street has a bunch of red to grey Ashwood Trees to pick from. The Pines and other trees are all over the park. The tree in the cage who has long pines is being mistreated and shaken and needs saving from the groundskeepers who belong in prison. Same with the animals and other plants. They rape and strangle and hit the animals. It's safe during the day.

They and the other inhabitants of FDL also need saving from the water being polluted, drinking water and the lake and the rivers of FDL, including the river of Lakeside. The city needs to do something about all of that.

Whoever named that beautiful lake devil's lake really missed it. The devil can't create anything except death, chaos, and destruction. Please consider changing it back to it's original Spirit Lake which is much more appropriate. Thank you.
