Maaaan i just came across your build trying to get inspiration for the bulletproof Seacraft “Zenith” I’m building. Your level of craftsmanship is mouth watering! Hoping to do similar stringer and bulkhead design to your build. Im planning on reinforcing the gunnels with 1” hexcore from bow to stern. Interested in why you guys opted for the “rib” design. Also curious why y’all glassed the coffin box insulation foam before bonding to the hull? appreciate any advice from pros like yourself!!

Thank you, Sir! Kind words!! The ribs in the cockpit were dual purpose. To attach hardware, hooks, etc and to add riditity and strength to the working end of the rig. I laid CSM on the 2# insulation foam because it is so soft. Any pressure makes dings and imprints. I doubt it would have twisted in one piece without cracking if I attempted to bond it without the CSM. If I do the exact same ice hold again, I may try a different approach. Cheers! Thanks for watching!! Hope to get to 1000 subs! Share if you know anyone who might enjoy these!

If you were asking, why not core the hull sides? Well, I prefer solid laminate. I am skilled in vacuum bagging, infusion and coreing, yet it is hard to beat solid laminate. Extra weight is not always bad.

Wanda is a bad lady. Truly one of the finest vessels I've ever seen.

@vernesecustoms well I can see the work was both time consuming and design and build as such is always thinking on the fly,,,,, is the mould one you made yourself,, I like the design so credit to whoever on that front,,, and the ribs you made with the full sheet of coosa will always be a lot stronger than any other design ,,, and the captain Rob Fish coffin ⚰️ was a bit of fascination,,,, the foam surrounds make a huge difference,,,, ive played with making esky drink boxes out of outboard cowling shapes,,,, the ones with 2 inch foam all around work so much better,,, anyway thanks for the views, and looking forward to the fuel tanks
