Discover Waikoloa Resort on the Big Island
Waikoloa is Hawaii Island's tropical DisneyLand and we spent the day there to show you some of the things you can enjoy doing such as shopping, eating, beach going, and hiking.
We had a chance to interview G Cruz from KWXX, discover a newly popular shave ice restaurant, have lunch at Lava Lava Beach Club, say Aloha to the ABay Kitties and stroll through both the Queens Marketplace and Kings Shops. The drone footage shows you the sweeping sandy beach and fish ponds at Anaehoomalu Bay.

Love it there. I was there on my honeymoon 30 years ago when the Lava Lavabeach club didn’t even existed. And been back many times. My second marriage was on the beach there in 2001. So a very special place for me( although tourism has changed it quit a bit unfortunately)
Cheers, watching your videos motivated me to take a trip to the Big Island next March. (been to Maui and Oahu many times) 5 nights in Kailua-Kona to be close to the excursion sites, 5 nights at the Marriott Waikoloa Village, and 5 nights at the Mauna Lani resort. Already booked a deep sea snorkelling trip...never snorkelled in more than 20 feet of water, so 3000 feet should be interesting....can't wait.
You two are brilliant. I always look forward to Hawaii Island. Look forward to your real estate Aug 2021. ALoha

I originally from Big Island & enjoyed the video. May I suggest, especially since you have a Hawai'i based channel, that you learn how to properly pronounce the Hawaiian places & words. That would elevate your video channel to another tier. 🤙🌺

What is the managers name at lava lava? Bcuz I have a brother that works there as a supervisor 😁.
Just to add about OBISIC, Original Big Island Shave Ice Company is not new at all. It is a family business that has existed for decades. What is new is the shop at the Kings Shops. Prior to the pandemic, OBISIC (never heard anyone pronounce that as a word, fwiw) had a truck at the Kings Shops on certain afternoons each week, and they have been planning to have that shop for years, but it didn’t open until this past year or so. They have the lightest shave ice ever, and their homemade natural fruit flavors are to die for. They have the more traditional brightly colored artificial syrups, too, but go for the natural ones. It also doesn’t hurt to get a scoop of mac nut ice cream underneath and a condensed milk “snow cap” on top. Enjoy!
Waikoloa is nice... kinda touristy... but nice.
You left out so much. The awesomeness of the theater in Queensland. The pools at the Hilton. Places like lava Java that are awesome. King Shops has gone downhillI am making it too expensive for Louis Vuitton, Macy’s, Coach come on Merriman’s and I’ll leave that at that.

And then Tommy Bahamas restaurant in Maunalani too. That center is pretty dead but they do have another supermarket with more variety Then KTA in Waikoloa.Then there’s the new shopping center going in Waikoloa plaza. Which is right from a group of stores and Waikoloa

Not to mention if you’re not gonna drive to Costco for gas I’m gonna that the gas in the shopping center with Kateee is much cheaper than at the resorts.

@@laurena5070 That will appear in our Mauna Lani Resort video! This was about Waikoloa Resort only..and not Waikoloa Village, either. But the Waikoloa Luxury Cinemas in Queens Marketplace is DA BOMB!
