Discover the Silk Weaving Village of Pochampally in India

Beyond the Taj Mahal and Goa, is rural India worth visiting? And: can tourism help preserve rather than destroy traditional culture? DW's Swati Bakshi takes you to the small Indian town of Pochampally. Here, the art of weaving colorful fabrics for sarees has a long tradition. Let's dive deep into handicrafts and rural life!

Good initiative and I want to congratulate my uncle and my grand father in explaining the design and colours, this is from Koyyalagudem village. I feel some of the unwanted scenes can be excluded to get better feel.
