How did you get that music/chime to play at start up? @driveS5

One thing I don't understand with odb11, as I don't have one yet, is they also charge an annual subscription fee. So you have to buy the tool, pay for an annual subscription, and pay for the apps. Is that correct? Did you try to disable the start/stop via obd11? Even though it states in the app "up to MY2019" someone else said it did work on their 2023 MY. I might look into this tool in the future for my 2023 A5.

You can get the free version. There are different 3 different tiers. One free, two paid.

@@blazehenryson I'm new to Audi coming from Infiniti for over a decade. Trying to learn about these cars gives me a headache. B variants, engine codes, etc. Lol. If I ever decide to buy an Audi in the future, I'll definitely need obd11. Right now I'm leasing my A5 so I'm not really worried about modding it. About the only thing that is neat is the headlight animation but not worth the cost at this time.

Yeah like others have said, the Pro and Ultimate plans are really for long coding. The ultimate plan does however remove the need to use credits for apps. But if you don't buy a plan then you just need to buy credits and stick to using their "One click apps". You can disable the start/stop using the tool however, I actually find it convenient especially while at long traffic lights. You can also check out all the One-Click Apps available for your car if you head to their site: obdeleven.com/supported-vehicles?Audi Then in your case choose: A5 2019+ Hope this helps!

The only thing that looks interesting is the Scandinavian DRL‘s basically backtail lights stay on when headlights are off. Updates roll out monthly, not necessary for the S5 worth checking to see what’s added each month.

Hey so the animation seems to only function when I unlock the car. But when I lock the car, both head/taillights just turn off immediately without the dancing animation. However, turning the vehicle off and then locking the door... all the lights stay on just a little bit and then they do the "off" animation. How am I seeing people press the "lock" on their keyfob and activate the off animation? Can you tell me if this is the same for you?

Yeah the same thing happens for me. The animation seems to only happen under specific conditions. I don't know 100% the steps to do to get it to trigger all the time.

@@Cooper-gh8zt Yes I did however, I had preformed that same procedure many times and It was always inconstant like you mentioned. letting the car sit unlocked for like 1- 2min then pressing the lock button usually triggers the animation for me.

@@AlwaysCreativeVideos Very interesting. Yeah, such an odd inconsistency. Also, I activated my MATRIX headlights and it now does the RS5 animation on the headlights! This is on my A5.

I wish there was a way to get ambient lighting activated on the premium plus s5 via obdeleven.

It’s a completely different wiring setup and lights, which is why you can’t activate it. You have to update wiring, lights, etc.

Do this have any effects on voiding your warranty?

As far as using their One-Click Apps, no. You're essentially turning on things that are already available. If you do long coding then you may run into issues.

For the RS animation. I would put a note in the video that the lights can only be changed on the B9.5 Prestige models only. Not P+ or P
