Theres something very special about England and its country houses imagine living in a house that is older than America.??? Some of their houses are 500 to 1000 years old.

Interesting Robin Gibb discovered that former monastery property thru Country Life Magazine. The amusing thing about Country Life magazine is that professional burglars used to read it too. It was like a work newsletter for them. Apparently they’d look thru it, at all the interior shots, see what priceless antiques were available in the mansions to steal. Identity the address of the mansion they focussed on. And off they’d go robbing. Probably still do.

If you do another episode of legendary rock star 🏡 homes, consider Randy Bachmans home he use to own in Lynden, Washington. It is rumoured that George Harrison spent time there with Randy as well. 😅😅😅😅😅

Ronnie Wood's old house was called Holmwood (nothing to do with Dracula, I believe) on the Coombe Road, near Kingston Upon Thames. It backs onto Richmond Park.

I watched a channel that featured Robin Gibb's gravesite in the churchyard across the road from his home. Its a really beautiful final resting place and I think he probably really loved this house. I'd love to see more of it. Thank you for the stories you tell.

That is so funny how you pronounce Jacobian. It’s hilarious. And you’re serious. Kinda like how Nigella Lawson calls Microwaves, Mick - rah - wah - vay. But she’s doing it because she knows it’s funny. It’s like French. But crazy French

When you look at Harrison’s mansion, you just think how many rooms do you really need? It’s stunning but it’s not like you need a house that size, you could live in there months at one end and never see them!lol

You might if you were recovering/moving on from Beatlemania. George did extensive gardening for a few years after, to regain his balance. While all of these houses have beyond the, "needed ," space, the extra space can certainly be enjoyed.

Guy Ritchie would have been thrilled to end up with that English historical mansion. Although he makes movies about his obsession in working class English gangster life. None of which a life he’s ever experienced. His true character is that of a rich country English Baronet or Duke. Spending his life going out on shoots. Hunting with hounds. Knockin off innocent animals and birds. A true occupation of the English aristocracy. Oh and that’s his other obsession, guns. Sorry but I don’t like Guy Ritchie. Heard him on hot mic belittling a very polite employee guy. It was unacceptable. And just showed he has no class. And thinks he’s superior to people. He’s not.
