I like that this architect considered the orientation of the house, shading and airflow for natural ventilation. For me those are basics for building in a tropical country, but unfortunately many do not take those factors into account.

I definitely agree. Been watching house tours ( mostly they are build and sell ) with good design and stuff in yt but rarely seen architects that consider the direction of the house for daylight and natural vent. Mostly watched who consider the orientation for feng shui 😢 then faced in very hot spot/area ( didn’t mean to offend anyone ) It’s good to find one here who consider these important factors.

So much in love with how Architect JM planned the house/sections according to the sun and wind directions 🤩. Dapat talaga yung shower room and CR exposed sa araw, and yung bed and sala sa north banda. Now ko lang din nalaman na south yung pinaka exposed sa araw. Love this, daming matututunan!

I hope in the future they can include the total cost of construction, information such as the architects, contractors in the caption/description. But I saved this for reference in the future ❤❤❤

Agree and same saved for future partnership with the Archi. He should have his own yt channel.

Comments are pretty much the same. We love the design and the Archi, especially his incorporation of the envi. And the need for an estimate and cost ❤

Beautiful design. Really customized for the owner. For future proofing and keeping the value high, I would have added 1 more bedroom and used that as an office (which can be easily converted into another bedroom). A '1-bedroom' may not always be a quick selling point, if they do decide to sell in future.

scandanavia took inspiration from japanese. they never owned these designs. everything you see here are japanese designs.

The glass blocks are really ugly and very dated.

it ain't your house anyway. the design has been approved by the owner, so why bother? plus it is a mixture of scandinavian design, so go check out what scandinavian home looks like. mostly they're open and use a lot of glass and open elements.

The dated part could add a mid-century vibe. Though, it was overly used in this case. Trellis may suffice instead.
