I am from Russia, Western Siberia to be exact (no, it’s not that bad ). My husband and I lived in Asheville since 2004 and absolutely love it here! In 2015 we became parents to a baby boy, Dmitry (named after my grandfather). And in January 2020 Dmitry became a big brother to Katya. We now share our home with Romeo, who is a jack russell (We lost our first dog in 2022).

Beautiful neighborhood, with a lovely trail around the lake. Spent some time there, as my good friends from Oregon lived there until they moved back to Oregon this past summer.

@@livinginashevillenc There were a few things they didn't like about here from what they told me: the quality of water, the smell of the soil, and the traffic. Plus they love skiing and snowboarding, and there's a much longer season for that back in the Oregon mountains which are at higher elevations than here.
