This is the first damaged John Lweis set I've had in a while. Let's hope it doesn't become a regular thing.

Thanks Ian. The Jules Verne GWP is a really good one. I managed to get 5-6 orders for that one and mostly went after MK City Of Lanterns and The Office. Keep on growing my friend.

Surprised you got so many cameras, I honestly had no idea that Creator sets are good investments but I guess you have to have an eye for the ones that are within that theme. Funny story I actually got that camera set for free with one of my orders as a mistake, e-mailed the store and they told me to just keep it. I suppose that strap piece makes it quite unique and it's definitely a cool set if you can get it for a low price.

Nice haul Iain, the Cantina is too expensive for me to invest in but there is no doubt that it will do well after retirement. I really enjoyed your interview aswell ☺️

Rainbow space display looks very good with David's colour coded accessories added. Cantina is a lovely set. I hoped to buy last year from John Lewis instore and found every box in the store smashed to pieces. Nobody cared. John Lewis not the shop it used to be having been very poorly managed by an awful boss over last five years. Hoping that the new boss from September can turn it around before it is too late for them. Thank you.

Yes, those accessories look great with the space figs. I really only use John Lewis online for Lego. I've been into the department store in Southampton a few times but they never have any decent deals or discounts on there.

Some great and sneaky discounts there. Display looking great - although you'll have to tweak it when the new colour spaceman gets released.... Annoyingly, LEGO haven't made a proper space helmet in light grey yet

Thanks. I think you could get the old style 1980s helmet in grey, but it's pretty rare these days.

Hi ian i know you dont want send it back but make them aware packaging should be alot better and your not happy how it came .they will send you a e voucher or refund off the goods honestly please do that because they have to get to in there system anotger compliant maybe 1 day will come undamaged please try ian

Hi ian ive had alot of bad experiances from john lewis please complain they will send you a e voucher ive said so many times about there distribution boxes come damaged

Hi Martin. The box damage is very minor so won't contact them on this occasion. I did send comeback to them once a couof years ago thowhen something was really badly damaged, so I do know they will replace something if needed.

I base my buying decision a number of factors such as availability, popularity, price, etc etc.
