Yeah it's hard to replicate how real smoking looks, as smoke you exhale generally comes out in a lighter cloud due to absorption and mixing with CO² as you exhale.

Everyone is acting like he smokes daily, they are props and are only for skits and shit why does it matter that it looks fake? It’s SUPPOSED to be fake because it’s a PROP Many don’t understand the art of film making. If the actor doesn’t normally smoke for an acting role, they use CGI, do you think this person has CGI? No he did the best he could with the materials he has as healthy as possible. He’s not a professional actor so all this “he should be a better actor” and “Practice smoking for films” is nonsense since he’s clearly not an offical actor or actor in training. Chill out.

If i have a "Steel Bar" that's made out of foam and i lift it or let it fall in the wrong way it's obvious that it's not steel. Just think of action movies. You wouldn't want to see something like this in professional productions and that's why criticizing it is okay ;)

The exhale is short to and the exhale from a cheek draw is all clumped together while a real exhale is a thinner stream

At my old job, for smokers, they were allowed a smoke break once an hour. One of the managers was a smoker so he didnt care if they even took a break every 30 mins, hed just join them

I'm so glad prop cigarettes exist! I always wondered.. it didn't seem unbelievable that actors just smoke, but I always thought, "how awful if you don't smoke but have to for a role..."

Not really... The dangerous thing about smoking is the combustion, not the nicotine. The nicotine just makes you addicted. So it's only a great replacement when you want to quit smoking and try to get rid of the nicotine. But smoking these things instead of cigarettes for the rest of your life won't reduce the damage to your lungs at all

Nicotine is the addictive substance, it’s what makes you addicted to smoking an ordinary cigarette. But smoking is the real thing that kills you here, not the substance, so you’re still not safe with cigarettes that contain no nicotine.

Yeah, obviously anyone would agree. And the cigarette itself does look real. His smoking on the other hand does not look real. And no one really cares, because obviously it's healthier for him. But keeping the smoke in your mouth and exhaling it all as soon as you take the cig out _makes_you_look_like_a_12_year_old_trying_to_be_cool_.

Well whenever you smoke. You don’t suck it into your cheeks and just blow it out. Inhaling the smoke actually dissipates it and makes it less thick when you blow it out. Like I said it is a cool prop but there’s ways to make it look real. Like for example you don’t inhale the first puff of a cigarette while you light it. So if he just kept it lit that’s good enough. Better than hitting it and removing doubt that it’s fake

Lmao these are what got me smoking in the first place when I was a kid. My grandma smoked herbal cigarettes (because they 'weren't addictive') and I started taking them when I was about 8 or 9. The thing about addiction, something doesn't have to be 'addictive' to for you to become addicted to it. I learned it wasn't the nicotine or tobacco that I have a problem with personally. It's the comfort of repetitive movements, the excuse to take a break from whatever I'm doing, and my general nihilism that keeps me smoking. That being said, kids out there. Just don't start. Even if you don't care about your health, this shit's just too expensive.

wow as someone who is trying to quit, this looks like a great idea. it will give you that hand to mouth, the pretty smoke and satisfy the want for the routine without the nicotine!

As for nicotine, yes, there are vapes without nicotine in them. Many companies sell 0 nicotine vape liquid that can be vaped

Breathing isn’t as simple as just in an out- there’s a lot of control you have over your diaphragm. Especially with something that’s heavier than air, like smoke, you can breathe it in but hold it in your mouth rather than pulling it down your throat and into your lungs.

“Inhale into my cheeks and not my lungs” homie that’s not inhaling that’s sucking. All you guys saying he’s inhaling clearly don’t/haven’t smoked. Nothing is entering his lungs he literally says it. He doesn’t inhale anything.
