Discord adds so much content that either removes clutter or add more, they should make it optional features and let the user choose instead And because it's Discord, of course they get to lock it behind Nitro, they wouldn't do it otherwise

i wish shortening the visible portions of bios would allow for extending the bio limit. you know, since theyre no longer gonna take up the entire planet and are click-opt-in-able (lol) you may as well allow people to list more stuff there. like a hundred characters more or something

Imo, the only bad thing about the simplified profiles is that they hide the full "About Me" section. People need that type of info to accurately convey stuff. Seeing their whole bio from the get-go is quite important to me and to many others, so hiding it behind a button that opens the full profile makes it so we might as well not even have the initial screen in our opinions. Things like roles and stuff genuinely don't matter in the preview, but it does still lead to some weird issues since the "global" profile (the one that doesn't show roles/server profiles/server nicknames/etc.) can only be opened from DMs with this update in place.

I had this profile update a week ago on regular Discord and was super confused. Thank you NTTS for clarifying stuff up.

Plenty of people from Twitter, Feedback website and discord are calling for a revert simply because people can usually have 100 servers or dislike scrolling up and down just to reach direct messages. It’s simplified, less clutter and easier to use for mobile based systems.. NOT DESKTOP!

Discord's new changes aren't that bad in my opinion they just need to work on it more and polish it up.

I actually like the new features discord plans to add, my friend has them for some reason and Im kinda jelly

personally, with the minimal layout for profiles, i hate it because i use a lot of fanart as my discord pfp and i have a spot in my bio where i creddit the artist. it's annoying that they can't just click my bio and see it from there. i'm fine with the rest of the clutter being gone, but maybe leave 2-3 lines of the bio at least? edit: i did not get to the second bio layout before i commented this lmao

Finally Darker Mode has added to PC's I WANT THIS FEATURE SO MUCH SINCE 2 YEARS AGO

The activity list has already taken effect for my client, and I honestly hated it at first, especially the fact that even if you click the option to hide it, it'll be visible again next time you load up the page, but now I sort of don't mind it and I just let it sit there.
