I don't understand why no one buys such old cars or tractors for so little money. In Germany everything old is big money, especially tractors.

They’re just very common here, and it costs a fortune to get them hauled to where they are valuable.

U forget we still have working pre WW2 tractors we have stuff later 30s to40s for example Farmall letter series a,h and m many of these still working Your country has nothing from this period you were rebuilding till the 50s

The problem I have is hauling anything away. I have a single car trailer and am like 1400 miles away. It doesn't pay for me to haul 1 at a time and can't afford to pay for a tractor trailer load to sell.

If you saw a bright light that was me, realizing that it was your yard that Puddin', Slick50 and D&H Classics visited in Puddin's video last Monday. Thought that Farmhand loader truck looked familiar.
That business hours sign is absolutely perfect! I hope you use it.
You got The Right attitude my man. When life gives you lemons just make lemonade. Stay safe and I'll see you on the next one.
Great vlog again mate. Sorry you damaged your truck. I know how proud you are of it. Take care hope it gets fixed properly. 🙏
That tractor put up a fight for life! :-)
Man.....sorry to hear about you messing up your truck Mr. Silas. That sucks 😢 Hopefully the body shop can make it "like new" again.
Another great video ! I took the seats out of my old jag mk10 and use them in my man cave .a friend of mine welded up frames for them and they look good. You could do the same with that jag xj8 if they are any good they would have the advantage of all the electric bits on modern car seats. It would be a comfortable option for your school bus. Just a thought!😊
Sorry for your mishap Mr. S. We really enjoy your content over here in Pennsylvania. Your dexterity with your front end loader is uncanny, man! El barro es barro, las lágrimas son lágrimas... todo fugaz, pero la basura llegó para quedarse!
My dad had a late 60's Case 730,it weighed 5 ton. It also had 90 gallons of antifreeze in each rear wheel....it was a beast to run
Be careful, insurance will see this and know that the rear bumper damage is from a separate accident and make you file separate claims and pay another deductible. Love the episodes though keep up the good content

@@AdventuresMadeFromScratch Surprising they don't usually do that.
It's always interesting to see what cars and trucks come into the yard . . .
Those old case wheel weight would have made killer step stones
Great video. Always love to see what you come up with. Sorry about your tailgate, I did it to a new 3500 same dang thing it definitely makes for a sucky day…
You have a lot going on. And I know accidents happen but sorry you damaged your truck. But we live and learn. You are such a hard worker. I hope things go more smoothly for you from here on out . Love watching keep the videos coming.
Great video whenever I see old vehicles or houses I think what if these things could talk. The history they would share is so good. Do you save any glass or is there a market for that? I see you crushing a lot with the glass just breaking. I was with a few friends out at night at a favorite club. Someone broke the drivers window to steal the radio and the door was unlocked? The cost to replace the window was more than the radio was worth.
Ur to Yung for senior moments cheers 🥂 silas 😊
Wow, those trucks were delivered one day and gone the next .

Yeah, I'm sure he wishes they'd all move that quickly.
The hood looks great, even with the rust.
My Friend the number of times I have had a moment of the DA! My heart goes out to you.
Just remember buddy, around 50 days till spring. Great video as always. Hope your days better tomorrow.
i believe it was a nightmare getting that tractor in the dumpster I was not sure you were going to succeed.
Haven't been able to spend much time on watching videos lately. Excellent time spent on my part watching this one, as usual. SO GLAD to see your sub numbers!
Cool thanks for your time 👍😊
Glad to see your face brother, get well and eat lotsa cookies. Blessings
Hello Mr Silas. Like you here in England the weather is playing havoc with people’s lives. Thanks for your time. Stay well, stay safe.
Great video. Very busy that tractor put up a fight. 👍👍👍👏👏👏
Hey Silas, make sure you leave that tailgate down when you drop that trailer!!! I'm just riding ya a little, lol😂
That was fun….I think if you would have been able to lift that tractor high enough to drop it in, it might have gouged a big hole in the dumpster. That sucker was heavy! Thanks for the great vids. Take care…..
I worked at JI CASE,in the 70s.off and on ,kept getting layed off ,so made many, many.trips up and back!!!!!some were made in one day, come up in 31\2 hours but take a different way back on sundays.take all day.
Im sorry that happened 😟 i hope you get it fixed soon
Thanks for sharing ❤
You would think with the prices of cars your late models would be worth alot of money. Ive noticed rust doesnt seem to be a big problem there and you get some cars and trucks with good bodies but maybe its there because of engine or trans problems. Im probably wrong but you would think someone would buy them and fix them to flip.
Im a tractor person . That's why I subscribe. Please keep up tractor action!
Back in the 70's, we had a bunch of those Ford Cab-overs with Cat v8's diesels. at the trucking company i drove for.
There is a tow calle Cranbrook in BC
We all have those days Silas, I’ve definitely had mine! Thx for making the videos and sharing with us!!
Good for you always keeping a positive attitude.
They're only new once. That looks pretty minor compared to the crazy fails all over social media.
Look at all that beautiful snow
great video keep them coming
Tailgate Damage - ah well - You will get it fixed - it happens ! You are a very busy Man - very Interesting - love Your Videos ! Muddy Grounds are NO Fun indeed ! Many Cheers from Australia !!!!
Great content. Your right, can't save them all.
If only I were there in the States, I would of been happy to have the Tractor for what you were asking! Sad to see that old Girl taken apart for scrap!
Bummer on the tailgate, but the best thing about this is that you will never do it again. We all learn by making the odd mistake. 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍
Hi that was an excellent video I like the old cars and the trucks thanks very much
Silas, Sorry for the tailgate accident..With all the extra technical attachments to these modern trucks they can be a pain to open. An Old Friend of mine accidently did the same thing closing the tailgate on our old 1984 Dodge D250 . and mistakenly pull a way with gate up from our gooseneck 4 horse trailer.
That nose piece of the tractor wood making a cool grasshopper. Weld some legs on it. Paint it green and there you go instant grasshopper
I watched a video from Puddin when he did a walk around your place, i didn't realize it was that big & you had that many cars, keep' em coming.
Hey silas in the meantime you can get one of those tailgate nets to keep stuff from falling out the truck😬
Hey Silas, when are you gonna treat us to a video with the body crusher you bought a year or two ago?! I see it from time in the background! That GMC did have a neat look to it's patina.
Awesome always cool stuff always thanks
I like ur place. So many interesting vehicles.
Sorry buddy good luck keep warm
It was cool to see you featured on Puddings Fab Shop!
Another great video!
Definitely the right thing to do with the tractor - if no one wants it or the parts of it then scrap it. Even though it is a diesel no one would use something like this for serious work (at least not in the UK) and there are only so many that can be restored. Nice to see the front metal saved 👍
You will like that goose neck they pull so good and easy to back and turn around.
Good video, cool music!
Thats a 1953 Plymouth you got,,, a car Porky Pig would be proud to drive
as for the fast sales, we always said in the antique trade just here north of Boston, the quick nickel is better than the slow dime!
Since you like the disc cutter, why not get one like rescue crews have. It's a giant version disc cutter. Can cut four layers of welded steel (roof columns/sheet metal support sections) one pass. Disc available range up to 24," diameter.

Hopefully. It has snowed many times since I recorded this video. Today was the first day all January that the sun was out. We will need some rain in late March as well for the morels to grow good
Your Plymouth is a 1953 and it’s a coupe, with the short roof and no vent windows . I have that exact car but a Cranbrook, currently off the road while I finish my rat rod Jeep built. A rare car but as you said not particularly desirable or valuable
32:00 thats a real purtty trailer he has there! I'm sure ya get a bit nervous around trailers like that!
It sure is a bummer that you got your tailgate smashed
That stinks about the tailgate. Dont feel bad, my boss did the same exact thing to his Dodge. At least no one was hurt and its fixable.
34:30 you could have some fun by blowin them up before scrapping em! 😂
U always seem to amaze me Silas always entertaining me and put a smile on my face . 👌🙏
Do like that Jag. Shame about the engine and box. Those are almost old enough to start being collectable now. Definitely save the nose off of it, great idea. And if not that then the Jaguar itself! :)
Silas you aren't the first one to do that and it could have been worse. Luckily I don't like driving my husbands 1 ton dually so I won't have to worry about that. You're a busy guy. Stuff happens. Good video.
Watching you trying to get that tractor in the dumpster reminds me of the Family Guy episode where peter tries to push a beached whale back into the ocean. It was tragic🤣
* That's how it starts Silas. The older ya get the more you forget stuff till your forgetting more then your remembering. 👊😎👍
👍 Thanks 😊
You are definitely a master at Operating your loader
Good video Silas
I'm sorry about your tailgate dear. It could have been worse, but it could not have happened either- that's what I say when someone tells me that. I knew that tailgate would be expensive. Make sure it has locks so someone can't just come take it off. A guy had the tailgate taken like that from his F150 Platinum edition, it was $8, 000. You might consider getting a fifth wheel tailgate, maybe eliminate that happening again. Always like the videos with a little of this and a lot of that, might make folks realize how busy you really are. I'm thankful Kansas is getting rain but gosh I hate snow. Hopefully you get enough to help. Stay safe and GOD bless
as for that tailgate - at least you did it yourself I've done the same types of thing - at least I did it myself
When things don't go the way you wanted/expected, isn't that what's called an Adventure??
You always make great videos
I wish the Kansas farmers a great growing season
Wanna see ya organize the yard nice rows and trucks with trucks all lined up ! Easy to pick threw and the cars in one area. You need a yard foreman so you can focus on your buying and selling more lol ! Love all the videos 👍😂
Well you really struck your tailgate with your gooseneck! You won't make that mistake again!
Bummer on the truck,I saw puddin's fab bought a Mercedes, that's cool
OMG, Oli is just cute as a button and is becoming the star of your show!
Do you still have your old dodge? If you do then at least you have a back up truck 😊
Bet that Cranbrook's a heater-delete car. Odd - radio, no heater.
Dear Mr. Silas. 🙈 Something like the accident with your tailgate could easily happen to me too. Looks like we don't need Murphy's law, we can cause enough problems ourselves. 😁 ;-) The most important thing is, that nobody was hurt. Best regards, luck and health in particular.
I sent a message on FB about one of the Old trucks you got in at the end of Video Silas
Whats the back story on the old plow truck in one of yours shot, the yellow one.
i like your choice of music on your videos
10" of snow is around 1" of rain average
As always i enjoyed this video 😊
Your on hell of à good loader operator.
Hutchinson, we appear to have a BIG problem!
Yes Sir!!!
That's a he'll of a son I love it !!!
more snow where you live!
