excellent video ! I just serviced my faucet and it was leaking. Watching your video, I realized the mistake I made during reassembly. Neglected to line up the plunger with the arm correctly.

Helpful video. Are there other designs? My Perlick forward sealing SS faucet came with two stainless steel washers which go under the bonnet. No O ring at that location.. Sometimes my faucet develops a very slow drip drip leak even with a new O ring. When I disassemble and put O right back in with different orientation, it may or may not leak. Seems very touchly.

This is a very informative video. Do you have any links or suggestions on where to get replacement O-rings? I tried to buy a kit from a homebrew store but the O-rings look different from what I removed from my secondhand kegerator.

The O-rings in this video are from a Perlick 630SS series faucet. I would first identify which version you have. Older Perlick 400 series has a threaded removable spout. Perlick 500 series looks similar to 600 series but use different part number O-rings. I would suggest you contact a draft equipment supplier and ask them directly for both o-rings. Look up Foxx Equipment Company, they are great

Wow, great video. Thank you! I have a Perlick 680SS faucet that won't fully connect to my shank. After tightening I still have a thread or two exposed and it leaks. Would you have any tips or suggestions on how to fix this?

Great question!! I’d approach this in two ways. First I’d inspect the rear faucet washer and ensure it’s not cut/torn, fully intact and seated properly. Also make sure the rear faucet washer is not a generic black style and is actually a Perlick brand. They are orange and can be ordered from foxx beverage or Perlick direct. Second, I’ve experienced Perlick faucets interact like you’ve said with certain shanks where they feel extremely tight when it’s not. Try a different brand faucet to find out if it’s a shank issue or a faucet issue. Good luck and let me know how it goes!!
