I know this video came out 3 years ago... but thank you so much for it. I actually have a different model, the MX495. I had a piece of paper stuck in it and none of Canon's videos nor the comments on those videos helped. I know this is not the same model or even series but boy did it give me the courage to at least try and take it apart.

Thanks for this iNet Ajmer. I'm trying to get to the waste ink pads- not the purge pads that are on top and confused with the actual waste pads in a lot of videos and instructions online. I was worried about breaking the plastic trim and panels so your video was really helpful. Mine is the MP280 which looks identical- so maybe just a difference of where it is distributed.
