Thank you so much for this!!! I guess I’m not mechanically inclined and I couldn’t figure out how to keep the Teflon strip in place. I had wrapped it around the metal strip and it kept slipping off. I just wish I’d googled this sooner. But thanks so much!!

Thanks. I was hoping it wasn't that much work. Managed it though. Scissors tip can work if you don't have ascrewdriver.

Scissor tip, or a sharp knife works really well too. If I can't find either of those I use the site on my handgun.

Thanks for the video. Mine isn't the elements nor the teflon but the flat iron placed between the teflon and the element. My kid brother misplaced it after i had loosened the sealer to replace the teflon. Before I could return to the spot, head misplaced it. I've searched for it, to no avail. Do you have any idea on who to take it to for replacement or where I can buy it from. I don't even know the name of the material so that I can call it buy name. I've not been using my machine for years now because of that. Any help please, I'll appreciate

How do you actually measure the heating element to be replaced. I have a PFS Plastic Film Sealer 16.5 long and I measure from eyelet to eyelet and it's 14" long measuring from the length of the teflon only end to end is 13", I ordered a 12" and no way does it fit and a 16" is big. How do I find the right elements ? ULINE has only 8, 12, 16.

It is Telfon belt. when you purchase new heater element . it come together with it.

Unplug the power cable first, then open the bottom case, Actually it is a simple circuit. check got any wire loose connection or the power cable broken cause no AC voltage supply. if you know how to use the voltmeter, you can check the ac voltage coming in or not. If everything is nothing wrong, come to the big transformer, then we can't do anything. just buy new sealer.

Can be somewhere connection loosen or wire broken. Also can be the Transformer. If you do not have the knowledge of electronic. send it o electrical shop to check it.
