Thanks Andrew. Every guy needs a bud like you in their life.
VERY helpful! Thank you. I hate that double honk, and I'll be getting this done soon.
Thank you, one of the best videos on this topic!!
Awesome! Thank you for this detailed video.

Just tried it and worked like a charm.
This worked for me, but you do have to work the switch a couple times on the device. The other issue I had was the vehicle shut off in the middle of the write sequence, go figure. Turned it back on, ran it again, and it worked fine. Good info here. Thanks!
Do you have a tip bucket? You should. I owe you big time. That was easy and you’re a life saver.
great video thanks Andrew
Hey Andrew, thanks for the video. I followed your steps and was able to successfully get rid of the annoying double honk. I have the 2020 ST model with the 12 inch screen. Whoever designed the GUI for this screen failed miserably. So much wasted real estate. If you discover a way to improve the GUI (especially in Android auto mode) on this screen please post a video. Thanks.
Great video! Thanks!!
Great video, packed with lots of information. I see in your video that they make an iOS version but do the make a Mac version of FORScan? For an upcoming video: one of the biggest issues with the 2020 Explorer is the Sync 3.4 build software. Most Explorers built early on came with build 19109 or something like that. These early versions had many issues. My 2020 ST was upgraded by the dealer to build 19200 to fix the dead battery issues. New Explorers now have build 19247. This version fixes the Apple CarPlay connection issue that many people have. Unfortunately the dealer will not just update your Sync unless Ford OKs it or they will not get paid for the work. People have said there is a way to download the most current build & use FORScan to update the vehicle. Do you think you can do some research to see if this can be done? It would make a great video! Thanks
Great video and thank you
Overall very good. I had a 2019 F150 that I had completed 5 or 6 changes on and then just drove it. A few years later I am getting a 2023 Ford Explorer and needed to update my profile and get the new License Key # and then come back and watch your video. It is way simpler than the F150 adjustments; no spread sheet needed for that 1 simple change. Di d you get or find a spreadsheet for your Explorer and adjust blinker or the Auto On/Off set up or anything else?
Thanks Andrew, I’ve use these steps to turn on the amber turn signal as DRL (daytime running lights).

What setting did you select to do that? Did the turn signals still function as normal? Thanks in advance

Thanks Andrew, this worked perfectly. Do you know of any way to disable the auto start-stop? (2021 explorer xlt, Canada). Thanks!
Can you disable the hand input I have to do for the self driving?
Bought the connector, tried downloading the drivers, but can only find PDF's on that website. Windows 10 indicated that the device was ready to use, so I tried it. Forscan shows no connection to my 2020 Explorer ST. Can't figure this one out. Anyone have similar issues?
Can you change the style of your dashboard?
A before and after would of been nice....it would of also been nice to hear you try the honk to make sure it worked.....
how can I get a Speed limit icon in ST?
What did you choose for Nav in Motion? I see that it was the name of your saved file.
Do you know how to disable the DRL to the blinker for DRL?
Do a video on how to do your own tune
Does this work on the iPhone or MacBook ?
I need help to disable Feng 🙏
Hey Andrew, thank you for your video. I just disable the stupid double honk "feature" on my Ford Explorer 2020. I asked the dealer to disable it for me, they told me I have to leave the car there to do that, really? It took me 5 minutes, of course, after I watched your video.
Have you done any other updates with Forscan?
Unreal. I asked my Ford dealership to disable this for me. Its so frigging annoying. They said they don't even have access to do these settings from the software they use from Ford. They didn't even know what forscan is. Now i have to follow this video and do it myself. Get your shit together Ford

Forscan is an open source program. Ford uses a proprietary software called IDS for programming. Programming is a specialty for most cars, and it’s likely some service departments don’t have techs with IDS experience.
Is there any version for MacBook?
Thank you
Wha about disabled DEEP SLEEP MODE n 202 Ford Explorer
Thanks
The only thing you didnt cover was the switch on the OBD connector. What is it for? What should I have it set at?

Forscan will tell you what to set it to.
I could not stop hearing "foreskin"
You didn't show us the before and after results.
I did all of this with my 2020 ford mustang Gt. it didn't work i still have the double honk. So how do we know this actually works if you didn't show the before and after results?

When you exit the car with it running, the horn beeps twice at you, loudly. It’s really annoying when you get out to grab something from the rear or to jump into the store with the key fob in your pocket. It’s nice when you can leave the A/C (or heat) on and lock the doors to jump in somewhere. Hope this helps.
Enunciate! Dude, it sounds like foreskin. 🤣
Man this thing is annoying
Get to the point... stop yapping
