Good job to all that contributed. As a disability studies major I have seen a lot of these kinds of documentaries. This KZread video does a fine job of seamlessly weaving together a lot of important information in a way that is easily understood.

Its a good little documentary but the focus is more on wheelchair users especially when it comes to activism when fact it took all kind of people with all kinds of disabilies to archive the things we have so far

I hear u on that but that’s the exact opposite of how I feel. Permanent wheelchair users are extremely misrepresented by the ADA. The rules they have for “disabled” GREATLY excludes rights for permanent wheelchair users

We have come a long way, but we still have a long way to go. Lifting the cap on SSI. Getting ready of the marriage penalty for people on SSI. Nothing about us without us! SSI payment and cap hasn’t been raised in 40 years. It’s time for it to be raised.

Society does not accept disability or differences. As a disabled person, I have been through so much hardship and it is unfair to put it out there that everything is good for us disabled people, when in reality we are the people suffering the hardest. There are disabled people in every group. I think if we focus on helping black disabled people (I have a few ideas), we can change the world in a radical way.
