I watched this movie maybe 20 times in movies. I was hooked

I lost my wife from cancer 24 years ago and she loved Patrick and this song. It will always remind me of her. Feel like crying every time I see it. I hate when time moves on.

I was only 14 when I first watched this film. 42 now, I can't believe it's been so long ago. Time is trully flying. I loved this movie. So sad Patrick is no longer here and many other people in my life are gone. Sometimes, I wish I could go back. Very nostalgic.

One of the most magical movies ever created. This movie represents all that was magical about movies and music back in the 80's. Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey were PERFECT for the part. Both of them had a certain vulnerable quality to them, which is exactly what the two characters in the movie required. This is one of those movies where it all magically came together - perfect script, perfect actors for the part and perfect magical music. Pure 80's MAGIC!

The part when his hand is going down her side when they're practicing is her laughing for real. That is also his getting annoyed for real. lol I don't know if they hated each other but i get what he means.

I have only 20 years but i love this song..these kind of songs can be called beautiful.

Eric Dominguez, the 80s were the absolute best music wise. I had a few 90s groups I loved because I had teenager's by then. I have lots of 80s and several 90s CD'S. I relive those day's through them.

The best part is when she contfront her father, against the rules of her religion ( Judaism) that forbids fraternization with other ethnicities ( Swaize character in the movie is Irish American). The owner of the hotel would allow/encourage only the Jewish staff (the waiters) to socialize with the guest's daughters.

SWAYZE AN ICON. HE GAVE MEMORABLE ROLES: DIRTY DANCING,GHOST,POINT-BREAK AND EVEN CULT CLASSIC LIKE ROAD HOUSE.

I really hate time! I wish there was something to just freeze it while living in a moment of complete peace. So many beautiful and talented artists are gone...Well it breaks my heart. Feeling sad with time lost.

I still can remember to the time 1987 when I saw at first Dirty dancing in the cinema in Kassel! It was so a great time with Patrick Swazy as the actor of this film and the other movies, too. Rest in peace

when watching this movie and knowing he is no longer with us is heartbreaking
