That dance from Dirty Dancing is iconic and will never be forgotten. I love the movie and the dancing of Patrick and Jennifer has been copied endlessly. I think it gives the people reacting the dance so much happiness. And I smile the whole time I'm watching and think of Patrick who left us way too soon.❤️

I totally feel the exact same about everything you've said after having just seen this lovely and wonderful dirty dancing scene in early hours of Sunday 13th November = remembrance Sunday here, I miss Patrick Swayze he truly was one of a kind, he really was. I couldn't stop smiling at this it's such a beautiful thing dancing but also bringing others together through dance- dancing is underestimated. Uplifting it is and a great discipline aswell.

What a fabulous tribute to Patrick Swayze & Jennifer Gray , & the cast of the entire movie. They set the bar high & I don't think anyone can come close to their efforts, their talent. It was awesome. These dancers probably don't understand the length of their reach which is a beautiful thing in itself. I've spent half my life in hospital including birthdays, Christmas and cultural days and I've seen some awesome people come and cheer us up so I can imagine the patients especially long term ones would of enjoyed the buzz of this event spread throughout the hospital. The hospital I go to is right next to an open events centre and depending on what is happening I've had the cheapest and best seat possible. The most memorable was Michael Jackson. We got to pretend we were at the concert and everyone was happy. I've managed to reach the age of 44 but life is winding down and I'm mostly bedridden but I've been blessed to have had many special moments. Both of my parents passed away in the past 20 months and I will be joining them soon which I'm at peace about. (I'm still fighting everyday to live). I had the most incredible parents and we really worked as a team of three until Mum passed on Boxing Day 2020 from cancer and then 13 months and one day later (January 27th this year) I went to wake up Dad to find he had unexpectedly but peacefully passed away in his sleep. Never forget to tell those you love just how much they mean to you.

I live in New Zealand and we often say that we have a similar lifestyle and positive characteristics as Canadians. I managed to visit Vancouver on my way home from visiting my sister in England and while I stuck to the tourist areas I found everyone was very kind and helpful. I wish you all the best. Xx

This was really great video! I had tears running down my cheeks! I truly loved Patrick, he's the only one I cried for when he died. It seems he still had so much to offer! His dancing nobody can match! He had such grace combining the two types of dancing from his mother. Smoothe and graceful!

Wow so such precise moves till the end. I love dirty dancing movie and have watched it end number of times till date.... and you guys mastered it so precise .... wow nobody has done it ... the full song move ! They just do the the common steps like i do too ... Great guys amazing hats off ! Love watching you do this so wonderful and graceful !!!! Hugs n kisses to you guys ;)

My mother loved this song; she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on Jan. 4, 2004, died Sept. 6, 2006, so never knew that Patrick Swayze died of the very same thing three years after her death. She loved his acting, she loved this dance scene from "Dirty Dancing," and she told Dad (who died 13 days before she did), "If I die before you, I want you to know that I've had the time of my life, too, and I do owe it all to you." They were married 55 years, never apart except the four times Mom was in the hospital giving birth to us four, their children, and they were an exceptional couple, wonderful parents, great friends to all who knew them, and still to this day, very much missed by my siblings and myself. And I love this song and this dance scene as much as millions of others do, perhaps a bit more so because of how my parents felt about each other ☺.

I love how smooth the stand-in lifted the girl and then the original dancer in black sidled back in. Clever! I didn’t pick it up on my first viewing, but I was wondering how he was going to lift her.

Me too. I had to watch that part of the video twice. I worried if the first guy would be able to lift her or if they would skip the lift but the other guy did it and they worked it out perfectly. I do know that both dance partners have to practice together and gain certain skills to be able to do difficult dance moves. The girl had to hold her body correctly when she leapt into the guy’s arms for the lift. Amazing job on that lift too.
