They got my side by side legal and it was the simplest process I could imagine. Didn't even have to go to the dmv. They are super fast responding to any questions about the process or parts they sell. Some of the nicest guys I've ever delt with. I've put almost 3000 miles on my roxor over the summer on everything from county roads to the interstates.

GOD's work? That's a powerful statement. You should be aware that the Roxor has none of the safety equipment required of cars manufactured in the USA over the last 40 years.

I personally can vouch for dirt legal because I paid to have my 2020 CRF450R street legal and it took a month to receive my plates in the mail and I shipped all the info on March 2 2021 and I received my plates today April 10 2021 so dirt legal is true to there word and service I recommend them for dirt bikes to be legal and I live in California

It works I used dirt legal for my krx I live in Ga and you can’t tag a atv because it’s considered off road use only I was nervous about using dirt legal thinking it was a scam but I used them they keep us up to date on everything over the weeks it took to complete the process after bout 1100 miles I finally got pulled over in downtown town dalton cop was saying it’s against the law he didn’t care about the tag it’s Georgia and it’s against the law I reminded him of reciprocity agreement and told him your saying it’s a atv but what does registration say it is reclassified from off road to quad cycle and after bout 30 min of siting parked on the side of the road he came back and said I want give you any more grief your free to go

The ATV would be registered as a Motorcycle, on your drivers license you would need to also have an motorcycle endorsement. Most states have a general DOT compliance of the ATVs needing to have the following; headlight, tail light, turn signals , mirrors and DOT compliant tires. Expect to pay around $1500 - $2,000 for parts, and $500 - $1295 for the plate depending on if you paid tax or not. It will take 2-8 weeks depending on if you are financing or not.

Hello I am interesting in getting my dirt bike street legal in California , but what happens after the 20 day grace period California has for out of state plates. Can you turn in the out of state plates and get CA plates?

You cannot get a CA plate in most cases, however the 20-day rule only applies if the vehicle is registered in your name, so for that reason we recommend to register the vehicle into a business name such as an LLC, this way you cannot be hassled, although from our experience, CA has not been enforcing this rule on dirt bikes.

My question is this. AZ has an Offhighway vehicle program where one can register their atv/utv with all the required equipment + insurance policy but they way I understand it is that they cant use it on the freeways (legally), is there any further benefit of using Dirtlegal for AZ vehicles?

If you have the ability to get a license plate from your home state, that would be the best method. The only benefit of a non AZ plate could be that you wouldn't need any types of inspections which some counties in AZ require.

New Jersey would likely turn it back into an offroad vehicle if you transfer it to their state. You should have no issues using the out of state plates, especially if we register them in Montana.

Just because a vehicle is registered legally in another state doesn't mean it can be driven in your home state. Most states reciprocity agreements only apply to vehicles that could also be registered legally in your home state. You can still get pulled over and have the vehicle towed.

Buckshot x6 sandrail, has a 17 number vin all equipment to be road legal in Florida. Possible to get a FL tag? I've seen can ams and 4 wheelers here in my area with FL tags. X6 is no different than a can am SxS just with a v8 and comes from factory with most road legalizing equipment.

For California - it's technically illegal to have the vehicle with an out of state license plate if you live there so what do you do? Also - when the registration expires what do you do? Have to go back through you guys to renew it again?

That rule exists in most states, however, it is rarely enforced. We can register the vehicle under an LLC that we create for you for this reason. If the vehicle is owned by a business, it circumvents that rule. You can renew the plate online through our website or by mailing a check to the DMV.

a muffler would still be required as it part of standard street legal items

I’m in ny, wanted to know if this would work for transferring the SD plate to a NY plate after getting it plated with this in SD? Also just wanted to know if a MSO is required to get the plate in SD first? Basically because some MSO’s and Titles state “For off road use only” and most of the times these bikes can’t be plated if that’s stated on the MSO and Title so just wanted to know if this also includes SD or if this would still be eligible to do in SD even if that’s stated on the MSO, Title or Certificate of Origin. Appreciate any information if possible.

You can't transfer the plate to NY, but you can transfer the title over to receive a NY title but it will be labeled as off-road only. We recommend to keep it registered out of state. We only need a bill of sale. No title or CO needed. Even if your title says offroad, we can still register it in SD.

so i can do this in GA? with a registration from montana or cali?

We will register it in Montana for you as we don't register vehicles in California. Going through Montana makes it possible to open an asset-holdings LLC you own to register your vehicle in.

Do you provide a temporary license plate meanwhile the license plate is delivered?

If you have a title, it's $499 tax-free to form your LLC and register it in Montana. Our Montana service will provide the most reciprocity so you can ride in WI without issues.

Can you do dirt bikes that have a lean on them. I don’t even know how I’d do it since the loan company technically has the title right? I’m in Ohio

what state license plate will I receive? I'm from Alabama and thats where all my addresses are but I am living in Massachusetts. My Triumph also has an Alabama plate but its obviously a street bike

I'm not aware of any states that would cause issues as long as the vehicle is being operated within the limits and has all the street-legal parts installed. If you try and transfer the title to your state though, it would likely be turned back into an offroad vehicle

We currently only register vehicles inside the US, but the vehicle itself doesn't have to be in the US.

If you register in Montana, it will be registered under an LLC that you own instead of in your name, so the state your license is from won't matter since it wont be registered in your name.

I live in California, would want to make my green sticker dirtbike street legal, would you send me a Ca plate or an out of state plate? If out of state which state?

Out of state plate from AZ or SD depending on your situation.

While we can still get the bike registered to you, you will need a motorcycle license to drive it on the road.
