Sorry, i totally forgot to add captions but i wasnt happy with the final clean at the end, so i went another round with a blue detergent called double clean. Its an extra strong detergent for stubborn stains. I hope you enjoyed the video.

That blue powder was like a new challenger appearing! Normally get to the vacuum step and think "Ahhh we're nearly done" but then out comes this extra level of cleaning!

Time to face the facts people. Our insane fascination with these videos and the color of the water after every blast,scrape and pour of the wet vac is troubling. Ever wonder what the definition of O.C.D is? Now you know!!!.....

I used to watch a Russian guy clean rugs and it aggravated me so badly how he was rinsing the rugs and it was no longer relaxing for me. Then I found mountain rug cleaning on TikTok and It’s the only channel I’ll watch.

I’ve followed a lot of other channels after finding this one and some are good but not as good as this one. Their videos are too long, only one camera angle and they move the scrubber around randomly.

After a month and a half of careful research in what to use and do, as well as a hefty bit of physical labor, i am infinitely pleased to report that I got the rugs clean, mostly stain free, and now sitting in my home for hopefully many years to come. These rugs feel like a metaphor for life - gotta clean off all the gunk so your bright colours can shine. It's nearly 11pm on a Friday night here in Australia, I'm feeling philosophical.

Reminds me of the late 1960s to early 1970s with bright colors and big flowers. I love it! Yellow/green and orange together is always a winning combination!

Wow. This rug really did transform. It popped more and more as it was cleaned. I would have loved to see more overhead shots and more floor squeegees. Yup, I prefer the floor squeegee over the water spray, especially when there is lots of dirt on the floor 😊. I look forward to seeing more! Thank you.

Wow!! Not only do I tune in for the therapeutic cleaning transformations, but I honestly love Dirt Reynolds and R2 Clean2. R2D2 has always been my favorite Star Wars droid since seeing Star Wars in 1978. Great job and I appreciate the ASMR. ✨✨

That white rotary brush makes all the difference the colours POP so much better

it's surprisingly common for someone to toss a well worn rug outside after a big spill or a pet has an accident, but a lot of those folks tossing those rugs don't always know they can have them cleaned lol

Everybody I know who buys new rugs or carpets for whatever reason takes their old ones to the council rubbish tip to dispose of them. There's a huge skip especially for rugs and carpets, it's always full to overflowing!

James often finds rugs in the garbage, landfill, or people call and have him get them. Some are from workshops some discarded outside people's homes to rot. Most of these rugs either get donated to be resold (if they are really nice) or donated to shelters for pets.

It is a beautiful rug and bright 🌻, hope some preschool or public library got this rug. It would be great for kids!

How much the carpet has changed! I didn't think it would be this color at all, it turned out very colorful and beautiful😍😍

Ok the last part when you spread the powder detergent was an absolute treat for me 😍😍😍

I absolutely enjoy your videos! Your rug cleaning videos have helped me tremendously in getting through the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy which have been really tough with pregnancy related insomnia. These videos are calming and relaxing as well as satisfying to watch which have helped me keep my sanity on rough nights when I don't fall asleep until 5 am. I watch these videos all through the night, thank you for posting them and job well done! The process you do on these carpets is amazing!! 👏😁😀

Mountain Rug Cleaning videos have a strangely calming hypnotic effect on me. When I feel anxious I put these on and I can say - “yes, it is but only dirt on the carpet of my mind. And this stress will be washed away by my mental Dirt Reynolds.” Then the clouds pass. And all is right with the world.

.... this is sooo satisfying. I relax, watch, and witness the expert completion of a laborious task. Fun, colorful rug - kudos!

At the end of the video, I wish you would show stages of completion instead of just the before and after...it would be interesting to see the difference after each stage of cleaning.

I think you should change the name of the channel to "The Adventures of Dirt Reynolds and R2Clean2 "😂😂

You should include a phase 1, 2, 3, etc. during the before and after to see how the rug cleaning progresses. It's often just a vague, dark patch and then clean lol it would be cool to see how much cleaner it gets after each step. Great stuff tho!

Another lively rug, both in appearance and behavior, but Dirt Reynolds has its number! I like try to guess what decade a rug was made, and I would put this one in the late 1990s to early 2000s,when the 1970s were revisited.

Third! Also, that rug looks brand new now, and it is absolutely adorable.
