    I remember this channel. This video popped up in my recommended list. I used to get so hyped up waiting for Dirt Everyday and Roadkill. So sad to see it all got canceled / put behind a paywall. I am paying for KZread. You guys should come back and feel the love again.

    I'd much rather go over an old jeep and get it in good shape than trust a brand new one out in the middle of nowhere, Too much to go wrong requiring specialized parts, at least with an old one your chances of fixing it with (a: another piece of the jeep. Or (b: a stick off the ground. Are indefinitely higher.

    After sinking and off-roading my Jeep, I am dealing with many wiring issues. How is the painless wire kit? I have a 93 YJ with the 89 cherokee 4.0. I ultimately would like to hook up laptop or PC to my Jeep to mess around with performance. Is this kit something that can work with what I am talking about?

    Hey Fred, What type of locker would you put in a 75 Cj5? Specifically the rear. I want something easy that doesn’t require air or electric. I’m slightly worried with the short wheel base that a Detroit won’t unlock on turns. Around town driving and trails. Nothing crazy.The shop that’s about to rebuild the rear axle (oops I broke a couple teeth on the ring gear) suggested a tru trac

  • @Bobbywolf64

    @Bobbywolf64

    4 жыл бұрын

    The winch they showed using had a synthetic winch rope. I've you've ever been around it when one snaps, you would see they are very anti-climatic. They are designed to have almost no recoil, and fall to the ground. Steel cable on the otherhand will absolutely take your head off if you are in the wrong place.

  • @truter5243

    @truter5243

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@Bobbywolf64 That is super interesting. I've always just used cable. Thinking I should go synthetic then when it's time to replace mine. Will probably still end up using dampeners on it lol

  • @Bobbywolf64

    @Bobbywolf64

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@truter5243 The big downside with synthetic is that it needs to be clean. If you get mud through the fibers it will break prematurely. It is easy to reattach you hook to what is left however. I still use steel because I never clean my gear, and it is much cheaper.
