In this video I used Lincoln Electric’s latest multi-process welder, the Power MIG 140 MP. It runs off of standard household 120V power and can handle MIG, Stick and Flux Core welding out of the box. With the addition of a foot pedal and torch, it can also do TIG welding on steel, and it weighs in at just under 35 pounds. If you’ve been on the fence about buying a welder because you don’t know how much you’ll use on, this is the welder for you. And it’s only $782! Makes a great father’s day gift!

I was set on building a Argentine BBQ .. as I got into the build I waned to give the typical idea some new life .. I purchased a scissor lift last year and it was the inspiration I needed to get to this idea .. the parts were purchased at the local tractor supply

Hey all - Just a quick update to let you know that My Giant DiResta Razors are Now Live Here: imakeny.com/products/diresta-razor-blade
At a time when things got really hard (our family camp was hit hard by the recent storms that came through the northeast) and both our newly serviced Weber grills were crushed by fallen trees...your grill make inspired me to press on and make what I want as opposed to let getting hit get me down. Thanks Jimmy.
Somebody : how many welds do you want ? Jimmy DiResta : YES
I’ve been a chef/grill cook for 35 years and that is the grill of my dreams very nicely done
That looks like it was a lot of work, but man, what a cool build! I wish i had one of these in my backyard. Thanks for sharing Jimmy!
Nice build! Nice and square too! It was fun watching you prototype as you built it!

I've been obsessed with these maker videos lately. This is among the best I've seen. Thanks for sharing.
I am building this based on your design. I initially built the bottom box to make a heat box to boil down to sap to make syrup; worked but needs a smoke stack. Today I am building the top grill part with the raising mechanism the best that I can. This design has inspired me since the first time I saw it.
Well I guess we know what we're having for dinner now 🤤😋 turned out great Jimmy!!

Hi. Please make your video again.
It's the year 2177. The great windstorms of 2049 have moved most BBQs into the ocean. Only one BBQ remains on land...

Nice build. Love the mixing of steel fabrication with mechanical functionality.
Awesome design and welding skills! Simply excellent.
Im amazed by your work. Just breathtaking
Although a foosball table/grill seems fun and mostly safe at first, the sprockets and chain were a solid idea 😀 Nice build dude!
You have some mad skills. I loved it when you milled your handle from brass.
Thanks! I was thinking of a similar design, but I plan to move the fire instead - thus I'll have the working area always at the same height.
You could weld a DIRESTA stencil into the grill have have your own branded steaks haha. Nice work 👍

just amazing, i thought it was overkill before the end, but it looks amazing!
I watched this a couple of years ago , but after watching it again , I think my amazement is justified . Well done brother . Anyone would kill for one of these .
I love the way you incorporated that old large gear into the mechanics of it!! That is an awesome grill! Great work as always!
😂 sometimes a man just has to go into the shop and fabricate his own grill because he feels like barbecuing that evening.
this is one of the best grillers I have seen .. this is amazing jimmy
I love cooking with fire wood done it for years unique taste... I admire the innovation you put in this grill
That's an awesome job but never have I imagined I would need to keep my grill chain greased!
Only you could think about such a brilliand idea!!👏👏
"Para os apreciadores de um bom churrasco, essa churrasqueira é um colírio para os olhos!" Bravo. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Brilliant as always Sir Jimmy. Another masterpiece from a genius. 👍🏼
One of your coolest builds ever! Love everything about it. Great build. Glad you are still making videos 😀

I like the creativity you did making this grill. Awesome job.
This was your best build in a long time. Go Diresta!
All you gotta do is go "Izzy style" and put a drill instead of the crank! Lol. Super sweet build. Can't wait to get a burger off it.
Magnifique job Jimmy ! ton BBQ est vraiment très original ! (depuis la France) Bon boulot Bro !
Awesome job! I love it! Thanks for sharing!
Even as a vegetarian I must admit... well done sir! If I could thumb up multiple times I would. I admire how Jimmy lives his dream and executes his projects pragmatically without loosing himself in details - it is all about the overall industrial esthetics and functionality. Best greetings from Switzerland.

This was a fun one to watch brother. Freaking genius
Nice...👍👏👏👏...I watched all your video...almost all...You are the best!Hello from Romania.
What a great idea. I need to make one of those scissor lifts with my everlast welder soon.

That freeform turning! Great stuff
At about 8:00 I was thinking "...wait...am I watching This Old Tony?" Then I noticed nobody was talking 😛...great work!
So. Many clever tips. Using nuts as spacers on the lifts, the gear “hubs” ...... Using that old “gear” as the crank handle really adds to the look. Nice work.

yeah i really love the almost steam punk look of the braai. could have mixed some metals and added some copper for that authentic steam punk look
Excellent job Jimmy I like the adjustable height to control the temperature of the fire.
Excellent design and build! And again another great video!
I am in awe DiResta just built a lift by pretty much eyeballing the dimensions I would have spent weeks in CAD before even the first cut...
If it's worth doing... it's worth over doing. Nice manual CNC lathe action too. 😀👍
Great job! And I appreciate your tools.
I love your build.. Being married to an Argentinian/Puerto Rican women. I'm certain she will appreciate this build. we love to Grill. This made it official.. I'm an Grille- Addicted. thank you..
Of course, who doesn't need a 500 pounds full metal overingeneered BBQ? Awesome as always man!

Olá Jimmy! Gosto muito dos seus vídeos. A forma como você junta as peças e cria dispositivos é muito interessante. Também aprecio o design e como um material que seria descartado é transformado num objeto útil. Parabéns!

Amazing job man! It looks great 👍🏼
Excellent build as always, love seeing your creations come to life, but just one question - why did you decide to mount the bars on the rack that way, in a \/ position as opposed to a /\ position? I only ask as most of the fats will pool in these rather than drip to the coals/wood, which produces the smoke and flavour that the barbie is loved for.
Nice design man, the Bad Obsession Motorsports guys just built something similar, not a BBQ, but a lifting platform.

Nice work. I like your grill riser mechanism, ingenious !
Dang....my mouth is watering for the BBQ and the food. Lol Great work brother.
Wow..them some cold skillz, diresta straight etched-a-sketched that handle on the lathe...n I thought my lathe skills were dope...but this guy has maker talent on another level.
Awesome build and I love the idea. The only thing that keeps scratching at my brain is that I feel like the Vs on the grill should be the other way around so that gunk slides off instead of being caught in the groove. The grooves cause strips of uncharred meat on the steaks.

Делитант видимо в жарке мяса. Джим и прав в ориентации уголка. Жир стекает в бороздку и вытекает в сборник, в следствии чего не воспламеняется и мясо не подгорает над открытым огнём.

awesome structure Jimmy, I like the grill thats going up & down. The old school wheel is perfect
i would absolutely buy this grill. by far the best and exactly what i always had in mind to adjust the temperature.
I love it. Nice work! =)
We need a 1.5 mil collection video. Just saying. Sweet grill and build. Thanks for sharing.
Great job, brother! Lots of craftsmanship went into that puppy. Since I won't be there, enjoy it for me.
Great design ! And adding the firebricks was smart .
There are a few people so creative they can write their own rule book as they go along. However, your brilliance at design and fabrication does not transfer to barbecue cooking, where you need to be a master of marinades, brines, basting, braising and related arts. I suggest you invite Abom over :-)
A perfect way to open up the grilling season. Great work there, Jimmy. You blew my mind again..If Jimmy DiResta build it, they will come!! By the way, how do you like your steak, Jimmy???
Good job Jimmy !!! Thanks for idea !
