For this woodworking project I made old time outhouse from 8' x 1"x4" ruff sawn hemlock planks that were milled from a local sawmill. The wood for this project had an all in cost $150. The cool thing is, that I know that this outhouse will deteriorate over time, which I am actually looking forward to seeing!
I am built this wooden outhouse during the filming of a TV show that is taking place on my property… so from time to time, you will see people in the background. As always thank you for the love and support - Enjoy!

My GPA was three weeks shy of 100 years when he passed away. He was self taught in most everything he did. It was from him that I learned about tools and tool safety- it was always a dream to build a house with him. Well a few years back that opportunity presented itself... We did just that however on a much smaller scale. Yup an outhouse! All the rules still apply and 20 plus years later it still remains in faithful service. Thanks for the video.
It takes me back to Boy Scout camp. I can’t count how many flashlights I saw down in the pit over the years. Boys look in and drop them then they stay on for a few hours!

Eh...the New York Times would do...
Simple easy build. I was actually looking for a small tool shed to place in my garden area to keep gardening tools in and this would do it nicely without the outhouse seat of course... LOL I like the TP holder too, it would great in a farmhouse inside bathroom too.

@@buellmaster We were in the tail end of a glut from fires/beetles in Canada/the NW USA that would have raised prices anyways, then covid happened and destroyer all productivity for a few months. Now everyone wants something that there's less of than there used to be, so prices go 🆙

Thou hast created the throne of thrones. Tis' fit for any king! Great job brother Jimmy, however I saw a Chihuahua dig a deeper hole than that. I harken back to the days of yore.., when taking a dump was quite the chore. ah.., those were the smells , I miss no more.., including the crescent moon.., on the schit house door.
